Hi I really enjoyed your video which was clear, concise and calm. I'm 59 and my labido has been falling for the past 10 years. My menopause started when I was 50 and since then, I have had reduced feelings of desire if any. My husband usually initiates sex and is often patient enough to allow me time to become aroused. I have vaginal dryness even though the entrance to my vagina seems quite moist. We often use pure organic coconut oil as lubrication and adds to mine and his arousal. When we haven't used any lubrication I've experienced some discomfort and bleeding after intercourse. At times I have to balance feelings of discomfort with not spoiling pleasure for us both. I talk with my other half about how I feel and I'm lucky that he's quite understanding and stops intercourse if I report any pain. It's a very complex situation and is unique to each couple. Even though it's not always easy for women to talk to their partner about labido, arousal and discomfort during sex, I think that partners need to know what you are going through so that you can continue on your journey together as informed as possible.

Hello is it ok to stop taking estradiol and progesterone prescription cold turkey? Are there any OTC I can take to balance my hormones and anything to help me sleep? My adrenals are in the exhaustion phase and I’m tired all the time. Any advice??

      Hi
Please don't stop the HRT suddenly as this could trigger withdrawal symptoms that can be exactly the same as menopause ones! Your doctor will be able to tell you the best and safest way to stop. You can try a fermented soya supplement such as our Menopause Support. Phytoestrogens are known to gently raise and balance oesotrogen.
For adrenal fatigue, you could try the herb Maca along with a magnesium supplement, approx 200mg twice a day.

      Hi Yvette
If you're in the UK you can checkout Yes and Sylk which you can get from health shops and some pharmacies. Some women have told me that coconut oil is good but may be a bit messy!
