It'll be tough at start with recovering from the workouts, all the exercise etc but just know once you get out of basic you'll be in the best shape of your life and then it's up to you to keep that going!! You got this
Reception week at 30th was mostly paperwork, learning how to stand at attention parade rest etc learning rank and studying the blue book. Besides that you'll get issued your uniforms get your haircut medical etc stuff like that
in my ait yes we had a gym and also when we signed out on the weekends there was a gym right outside of ordnance island aswell, So once your done with bct depending on your mos yes. but 100% once you get to your unit you can hop back on your split
Benefits to both I recommend you checkout both and compare them to your own goals and see how either or could help you get closer to where you're trying to be
The "first 72" and red phase you will be challenged the most so right from the start then it'll ease off a little bit as you get into blue phase but that's all depending on your company and how everything goes for your cycle
I ship out July 9th. Excited and expecting the worst 💪🏾

You'll defenedly be physically challenged but it's not impossible it's more mental than anything if you ask me but expirences vary
