Okay i thought my heart was going to burst when the daughter threw her arms around him...but then his wife did too! Wow this was a beautiful film. So much one can take from it!
I'm thinking that he and his wife had a falling out and she kicked him out. He was unable to afford the child support and make a living and was eventually evicted from his apartment, but it was years before his ex wife finally swallowed her pride and sought him out.

I watched this first around 8 years ago. I was truly a child but since then I've had motivation, it was a fear of ending up homeless and alone, without family and I think maybe this was the cause. Now my final goal is getting a job and working hard to not end up on the streets, to not be homeless, afraid, cold, alone. I always wondered why that was my fear but this may have been the start point. E: Always wondered, how did he become homeless? Divorce?
Amazing its only been about a year since I commented this. I got a job, I have my family, I'm alive. This short movie will always be a inspiration and a message I should never forget

first they shot the tv part. then he has to do the same thing againg with the tv on as if it was live but its not live. it was pre recorded.
