Thank you for posting this! I’m cruising soon and am so nervous about getting sick, but hearing about your experience makes me feel much better. Thank you!
Thx so much for sharing & I'm so glad he's feeling better.🙏🏾 Did you ever test or eventually start feeling ill as well? I'm sailing in May w/ underlying health conditions that affect my breathing so I'm always a bit paranoid w/ the covid issues; however I LOVE cruising!!
Hi! I did start feeling sick too eventually and tested positive after we got home. I figured it would happen since we were sharing the cabin space. That’s one of the reasons I really didn’t continue going to shows and everything by myself, out of fear that I could end up getting others sick. Thankfully we are both okay. We both have underlying medical issues as well so it’s always a fear in the back of our minds. Enjoy your May cruise!! Bring some extra cold medicine, Mucinex, Sudafed, Advil and Tylenol with you. We also have our own pulse oximeter. We have a specific “toiletry” bag we use wherever we travel that has all this stuff and some first aid essentials.
@@TravelingwiththeKings Thanks so much for the quick response & I'm glad you're feeling better too! I usually pack a mini-pharmacy when we travel, but will add more!😉😂 Happy Future Cruising to you!🚢
I try to do my boosters a month before I sail and I wear masks at theaters and on buses. For every one person that wears a mask when they know they are sick, there are 50 who will know they are sick and won't wear a mask or at least semi isolate themselves.
Sorry you are sick. Just had friends get off a 2 week cruise with sore throats. This was on the day they got off the ship. Positive for covid. Here they are 6 weeks later still sick and going to the doctor. Wow, can't believe they let your wife still walk around. Just because she wasn't positive then, she could still have gotten covid from you and shared it around. Ships are giant petri dishes. Not going on a cruise. I wonder how many other people had it on your cruise or once they went home after the cruise. Oh, no just heard the end of your video about others with covid on your ship. The ship didn't have paxlovid? Kathleen

Thank you for this video. Good to know details. Hope you’re feeling better.
Thanks for this update. I'm going on a B2B in May and had questions concerning Covid protocols. Glad to see you are feeling better.
Thanks for the update. ❤
Thanks for sharing this up to date information

Paxlovid wasn’t offered, and I’m not sure they give that out since it could have side effects that they might not want to handle.
@@TravelingwiththeKings I understand. Hope you are feeling better. Kathleen
