Wonderfully bad. I'm so happy this film is in the public domain, so we can all be a part of this masterpiece - a masterpiece for all the wrong reasons.
Yes, it was much better than a couple of plot summaries I read. I'm pretty sure Derek's book was the Bible which also appealed to me, and gave us a good idea of what caused him to change his beliefs. 🙏👏👍👍
These Teenagers from Outer Space are horrific, gruesome, it's really quite frightening. And the worst thing is you can't tell them in the slightest from human Teenagers.
I saw this film's previews at the Irving Theater on 5 mile in Detroit...great memories of that place. I even met Abbot and Costello who were permoting their latest film. This will be my first time seeing it in it's entirety.
Recall seeing previews, at last watched the movie. Great for that time period. Older cars were fantastic, enjoyed seeing whitewall tires, sign of those days!
Dawn Bender as Betty ❤️😍 Such a sweetheart… I know it’s only a movie but you don’t find women very often(I know there are a few, hard to find) like that anymore, just how wholesome and nice her character was & so beautiful ❤️❤️❤️ I like the movie, first time seeing it..not crazy about the ending though but I get the ending…I wish Dawn would of done more movies..This was pretty much her last movie....Retired young from acting…She still lives & that’s awesome & amazing 😊❤️
The gullibility of Gramps keeps saving his life from the bad guy and It doesn't matter that through the phone call he just apprehended of two homicides, all is perfectly suitable apparently and he gives the bad guy the new informations. Also this movie is alien in itself, possibly the most of the dialogues are, although for the same reason is pretty much hilarious. Evil vs innocence, closed society vs open society, the fitness of the teenagers, new blood of the society, are also exemplified themes without too much pretences and I like it for this. Well, even because the acting and the direction are not very sophisticated, and the dilettantism is so much evident.
FYI......this film cashed in on the era in which all teenagers were considered ''juvenile delinquents ''. It was almost hysteria level fear of young adults between 14 and 20 years of age. This was thanks to biased news casters and other influences of the day who blamed young people for all of societies woes of that time. Is it any wonder that what followed was the "flower power and love generation''?
This film looks date now, though Teenagers From Outer Space wasn't a bad movie. The chemistry between Derek and Betty adds charm to this story, even though the plot wasn't the best. This movie is obviously 1950's B Grade, from a time era long gone
Instead of a drive-in during the summer, I sit on the deck at home and enjoy the movie. Who'd believe this change of technology in 1959? All we need is Doc Emmett Brown and Marty McFly!
Fun film! Living in South Louisiana, with an abundance of crawfish, I can imagine what a terrifying sight it would be to have hordes of the gigantic critters crawling around the swamps. On the other hand, i don't think it would be long before we were converting unused water towers into giant boilers for a never ending feast! Break out the Zatarain's mmm-mmmm=mmm=mmm=mmm good! LOL.
Oh! The story on the actor that played Joe very messed up… just look him up,this was about it for him after this movie.. he went a little nuts.. The guy who played the villain, was the main investor for this movie.. he wound up suing the actor that played Joe who, wrote and produced this movie(his movie) Crazy crazy stuff! To me? Yes I like the movie but without Dawn Bender, I probably wouldn’t of watched it ❤❤❤❤ So beautiful
As this was an independent movie and having watched it and seeing Derrick's face in the clouds plus the opening credits i.e. Tom Graffe presents DAVID LOVE. I am now thinking that maybe mummy and daddy paid for the film to launch 'David Love's' acting career. Still it was pretty good in a cheesy/corny/hammy sort of way but I would sooner of had a Lobster supper.
Did the GAS STATION ATTENDANT YELL OUT LOUD, SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP ME. I guess no one heard him. The ALIEN killed him anyway. Maybe he should not have said anything about that uniform the other ALIEN was wearing. I think the GAS STATION ATTENDANT should not have been there by himself because he was to timid and weak. DO THEY EVEN HAVE GAS STATION ATTENDANTS IN THE U.S. ANYMORE?
I first saw this when I was about 4 or 5 years old, early 1960's on TV. I loved it! In the here and now, it is funny how the bad one that is going around killing everyone looks and acts just like David Hogg, the so-called Parkland shooting "survivor". Isn't it odd how life imitates art?
It's amazing how the GAS STATION ATTENDANT and the OTHER MAN DRIVING THE CAR thought they were going to get away from the ALIEN. He stopped both of them right in their tracks. Just think in a matter of minutes he destroyed both YOUNG MEN LIVES. What if they had RAY GUNS like that in real life EATING FLESH OFF THE BONES. Both men were just trying to be helpful and kind to the ALIEN. LOOK WHAT HAPPEN TO THEM BOTH.
I found a very interesting discussion of this film and it's producer, Tom Graeff on archive.org/details/TeenagersFromOuterSpace1959 (I think the scene where the dog is "vaporized" by the ray-gun is one of the coolest, funniest, cleverest scenes I've ever seen.)
I may be 18, and this film may have been made when my mom was born, I love this film. I respect the classics.
I’d forgotten how excellent this film is…
Wonderfully bad. I'm so happy this film is in the public domain, so we can all be a part of this masterpiece - a masterpiece for all the wrong reasons.
Love this movie - have seen it many times! There is a CHARM about it that is different from most B-Sci-Fi
Yes, it was much better than a couple of plot summaries I read. I'm pretty sure Derek's book was the Bible which also appealed to me, and gave us a good idea of what caused him to change his beliefs. 🙏👏👍👍
This movie is so bad it's good. Very kitschy. Loved it.
Remember this movie well. Unlike most Sci-Fi movies in the 50's the characters in this film are well developed.
I remember this being an extra in the game 'Destroy all humans' back on the original Xbox.
These Teenagers from Outer Space are horrific, gruesome, it's really quite frightening. And the worst thing is you can't tell them in the slightest from human Teenagers.
except they look about 30.
I saw this film's previews at the Irving Theater on 5 mile in Detroit...great memories of that place. I even met Abbot and Costello who were permoting their latest film. This will be my first time seeing it in it's entirety.
Awesome movie. Thanks for the upload, Alex!!!
Recall seeing previews, at last watched the movie. Great for that time period. Older cars were fantastic, enjoyed seeing whitewall tires, sign of those days!
One of my all time 1950,s top sci fi flims !
Possibly one of the finest films featuring an alien called Derek I've seen all day.
First watched this in the Extras menu of the PS2 game Destroy All Humans 2... anyone else?
yes!! introduced me to this genre of movies
i never managed to watch it all the way through cos my disk was scratched haha
Yeah same here, was playing it last night and discovered this gem had me captivated all night from then on
Such a great game by the way
I couldn't help laughing every time they referred to the other alien by name ...'Derrick'.
I dig the cars , chicks and manners. and the doohicky on the skeleton's skull .
The Greatest Film in Cinema History? Curse of the Swine-Beast!
Good movie. Thanks for sharing. More please.
That was close though. Thanks for saving us Derek.
I am in love with Betty's "Selphie from Final Fantasy VIII" hair. Hell, she practically looks like Selphie.
I save this classic sci-fi on "my watch later playlist" and i like sci-fi movies besides other movies & music too.
This better be in the Destroy all humans remake
Love this movie, and that girl is such a beauty!!! 💜💕
Loved it!!!!
Imagine the horror of Millennials from Outer Space.
Millennials are starting to turn forty...
Gargan claws with some melted butter is my favorite!

Sigh-good times!
Did derick become a Jedi at the end of the picture?
Jeepers Mr. Kent, this is a job for Superman!
The ethereal electronic music sounds like it was also used in 1968's NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD
This film looks date now, though Teenagers From Outer Space wasn't a bad movie.

Oldest looking teenagers I ever saw! Makes "Plan 9..." look like "Citizen Kane"!
[Nurse]"A moiderer!"
A remake! With Jim Parsons as Derek.
Great!

90% of the movie is everyone driving around in cars
Great movie! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻😊
A lot of men crammed into that small spacecraft, that must be one smelly saucer.
About the worst excuse for a spaceship ever .
I feel sorry for that dog they killed , a thousand curses on them.
The Lobster LOL the Voice is even funnier c];-D

Probably written by teenagers too.
Gramps was the best letting a total weirdo stay in his house & having his afternoon nap when there's aliens & giant lobsters on the loose haha
The nurse gets thrown out of the car and rolls over and over and yet her nurse's hat stays on.
Might have been what saved her. 😏
In loads of old serials men in fedoras fight without their hats so much as shifting a little...
A young Harry Connick Jr. arrives just in the nick of time to save the world (for American Idol).
I first saw this in the original Destroy All Humans! game.
Yeah same, I will never forget unlocking this film after the story...
How many times did you feel the pain of having to restart all over when you accidentally pressed triangle

Saw this movie on tv in the early to mid 60's. I was 7 or 8. It scared me then but I have since gotten over it. lol
I like this move well made good actors in it even sparky God Bless a ten out of ten
The leader of the aliens looks EXACTLY like Canadian actor Elias Koteas (You probably never heard of him but he is great, look him up!)
Defeat the Gargons with large pots of melted butter....mmmmmm
The scene at 23:14 was in Hereditary in the backgorund of a scene, took me a while to remember where I knew it from
We have the supreme weapons, we have the supreme people, yes but we meaning earth we have the supreme taco. Love the movie thanks

I think they do in Oregon. Unless they changed from last time I was there about 20 years ago.
Those Who Were Vaporized Gets Their Bones Donated To The Boneknapper.
That big Yabbie would be a fine meal.
Ah..to be a teenager again - ZAP! Maybe not..
very good movie. loved the plot. just wish the acting was a little better
Alice was very promiscuous
5:33 Circle of Dust - Neophyte (in song 3:48)
i love the film: plan 9 from outer space.
As a nine year old, when he ray-gunned the babe in the pool, I left the theater...lol...
damn my boy came out the spaceship and brought his lunch pail
Have they made a version for PCs yet? :-)
cute movie
This appears in THQ game: Destroy all Humans!
At first I thought, - what a corny title, it must be a really dumb flick.
Not even. This is a real cool movie.
Is it just me or does Thor look like David Hogg?
EXACTLY WHAT I THOUGHT TOO, IT'S WEIRD
Imagine the film has the living dead then teenager aliens

See, we tried to warn you about aliens.

Adventure Science Fiction
Why do all the 50"s space aliens talk like Tonto ??
+rpminc 12 You have obviously never met any Space Aliens. Some of them speak like that. Some of them speak with a Kentucky accent.
you can really hear the night of the living dead music in this
Poor Alice who ended up in the swimming pool probably had a winning lottery ticket.....now that is bad luck!!!
Lobster up! Wave it about!
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!
So the whole town was afraid of one lobster plus the other ships filled with lobsters?. Good thing Derek stepped in with his trusty ray-gun!
Classic 👽🛸
That horrible monster sure looks like a lobster to me 😂😂🤣🤣
That's what brought me here. :)
their home planet clearly takes a lot longer to revolve around their sun than ours does.
LOL. 30 year old teenagers!
If you have the "Destroy All Humans" game, you can watch this movie and other 1950's films.
Pass the butter please. Lobster. Mmmm
4:48 Ren & Stimpy - Sven Hoek
It is like Kraftwerk went on holidays.
2:37 What a total bar-stand!
as a great cult flick, it cant be beat
So there were teenagers back in 1950s.
I thought it is a new phenomenon or more like a annoying new phenomenon
Thor is a very angry young man lol
PETA would be against the needless slaughter of Gargon. They would say its inhumane to kill a man eating lobster.
I actually saw a man eating lobster one time... I had the chicken marsala.
Wow that Lobster sure is scary.....................
+SlipKnotRicky Thank God we have now managed to find ways of defeating them. This was a great documentary.
Classic Movie ****
Never trust a traitor.
