It’s quite hilarious how I’ve wanted to see an articulate accurate figure just for the ironic “I want accuracy” complaint. Grimlock’s natural stance is a surrendering pose, probably why those Dino arms are made that way. And they’re that way because the g1 toy were that way, which the show tried to replicate.
I got the shattered glass one. honestly for the faults in aesthetics here, I still love him. He feels like a big ole goober. Him and Bohdi keep each other company
I'm glad I got 86 Grimlock, and POP Grimlock is pretty good too, but had no weapons. This guy here looks like an action Master, it does look like the cartoon version without the color shading. I'm going to grab the Comic color 86 Grimlock to have in Dino mode next to normal 86, and it comes with 3 different swords.
I feel like newage rushes some of their releases. It's not the first time they've released a fig and then made an add on or upgrade for it like megatron hips, or devastator legs, and they made inside leg covers for this guy. What a shame they notice it all too late after release. :/
Oh that's right! I know being first to market is important, but so is making the right impression on one's audience. I hope they redo their Grimlock, but then again, maybe it looks fine in their eyes :)
The OSKO fixes the dino arms and cleans up the robot legs...but it's not that much bigger than the actual NewAge. It's a lot like the OSKOs of the Magic Square Stunticons...they weren't much bigger than the actual Magic Square.
Dude, so I just got the OS KO that's deco'd like the toy version and the arms arent fixed :( Maybe I have a different version than yours tho. I was hoping they'd have addressed that
