You are right that decentralization should take place.But it should be done slowly. Still people don't ask for accountability of local govt and they attribute every failure to state and Central govt. Slowly people mindset about local governance will change and so slowly we should decentralize more funds . 🙏

No. Experience real matters. No matter how much educated or skillful you are, you can't beat experience in long run. Moreover we young bloods many a times take decision hurriedly, complacently. When you're in a position of such power and authority, such decision can create mayhem. Moreover, his comparison of India at the time of Independence was not correct. Most of the MPs or MLAs of that time were educated, which means they were by default younger, as most of their previous generations never had seen the light of education. Hence, there's no doubt we need young people in active politics, but we also need elders as the horsemen. But the standard line should be "well educated", be it young or old.
There is an inherent assumption in above statement - young people make irrational decisions. So do old people. Experience is not as important as education as experience only teaches the as-is working. Just like the lower age limit was set because before that age adolescent are not considered mature enough, upper age limit should be set so that people who are not sane enough can be filtered out. Unfortunately just like we don’t have a test to determine someone’s maturity, we don’t have a test to measure someone’s sanity else that would have been better option than setting an age limit.

As a young Indian, I like this man. I adore his charisma and capabilities. But in many a point I don't agree with him. Such as his comparison of politics of India at the time of Independence. I don't think that's entirely accurate deduction.
