Love the yellow lighting added to your set, it goes well with your neon sign. It's a lil thing but it helps your space feel even more unique to you 💛I'm strictly a pourover person and have no interest in diving into the world of espresso, but I still enjoyed watching just because I enjoy your videos. Benki looks like a lovely space and it was so cool to have a barista help test it out. Thanks for including all that latte art pour(n), so satisfying to watch.

I've upgraded from Nanofoamer Lithium to the Pro Gen 2 just before I found out about the DREO.
I was a little upset thinking about overpaying but the more reviews came out, the better my mood got.
I find the DREO suitable for those folks not willing to pay Nanofoamer price but still get the milk heated and textured automatically.
I will definitely recommend it as a budget friendly alternative to the Pro Gen2.
I 100% dig the fact that the Nanofoamer has zero issues with starting milk temperature, while the microfoam dial in took no more than a couple of tries. All flow controllers are super straight forward and 200g of milk done in 2 minutes straight from the fridge is perfect.
I still find the cleanup not to be the best experience, but I quickly got used to it. A quick scrub with the included brush will dissolve the small milk patch in a few seconds.

I use my nanofoamer pro and the handheld (for travel) for making matcha strictly, not matcha latte, just straight up matcha. Whisking traditional matcha by hand takes skills and those machine produces better foam than experienced master matcha makers.

The reason why this device can beat the San Remo (or any machine with a steam wand) in terms of mouthfeel is one word: water. Steaming adds water to the milk. The end result is lower in fat than the Drea or any frother, that adds no water into the milk. Frothed microfoam will potentially feel a little creamier due to this fact alone. However, the speed of steaming milk, and the incorporation of hot air into the milk (which breaks down the lactose into glucose and galactose, which are perceptibly sweeter sugars than lactose), are two advantages that can't be beat. For these reasons, steaming is still supreme. To get more mouthfeel and to compensate for the added water into the milk, use a higher fat milk. Most "Barista" Milks are 3.8% fat, the ideal fat percentage for microfoam, in my view.

this is good for home use. just froth the milk while you prepare the espresso. some entry level machines can't do both at the same time. this is truer if using manual machines, as mentioned in the video.

@@haomingli6175Oh absolutely, agreed. No need for an expensive espresso machine. This looks like a great device. Just saying that steam still has 2 major advantages, and I left out the fact that doing multiple drinks in succession really does need a fast steam wand.

Been using mine for a week and really didn't have any issue at all with foam and latte art. The taste and texture is incredible. For the price and ease of use, this thing gets high marks from me. A steep learning curve is a metaphor that describes something that is difficult to learn, but there is an initial period of fast learning. It's displayed as a rapid progression with a huge spike at the beginning.
A shallow learning curve indicates that it takes a long time to learn the information. It's displayed as a long progression with a slow increase over time. 😊
