They are better designed than hp zbooks for ex. Here for some reason lenovo is most expensive from "serious" laptop bunch (dell, hp, lenovo), while usually it's other way around. Don't know why it's like that, but i'm stuck with hp now. They're nice, don't get me wrong, but i prefer "old school", straight to the point design (dock, vents and keyboard design etc), hardware is basically the same in all brands. One question: can laptop monitor be closed (and whole thing cleared out of the desk working area), while working on dock with external monitors? This is something i would love to have on hp, but because of it's stupid wents design, if you close monitor down, it reduced ventilation, cpu temperature rises, vents start spinning more etc. Not good, hp, no good!

Yeah it’s complicated, it took me couple days to realize what’s up. Basically p71 is biggest one and p51 is medium while 51 comes with s model if you are looking for tiny model. I personally like P51 models
i believe the price comes from the docking and the built quality, this thing can tank. As for y520, that is on the budget side lineup. So if you're just going for gaming, y520 makes more sense. But if you're travelling a lot and need some power for editing, the quadro in p51 does help. Feel free to correct me if i'm wrong, i'm not very familiar with quadro gpu
