Back in the late 80s, I bought a 64 A100 van from the original owner for $500. It was all otiginal and intact. It became my daily driver and was also the tow vehicle for our 1/4 mile drag car.

amazing work. He makes it look very easy, it is not. Getting that crossmember height in there with the lower arm mounted was extremely clever. I'm going to do this to my a100

Oh man, I've always wanted a 1968 dodge a100 panel van. I'd turn it into a sweet retro custom job. Cool find guys!

I'd be nice if you all included parts lists on the website, episode, or these videos. The instructionals are great and super helpful, adding parts lists would make this invaluable.

I love the Dodge A100's and have a rare. Higher top camper van, a 108. I too want to do something with the front end but I don't know if I can do what you did although I love it. Can I buy the kit anywhere or could I use the front end from some other vehicle. I also want to move my V8 engine back about 18 inches and put a bench type seat in it and I think the van would handle better. What do you think? Please get back to me. My van is a 1963 and they didn't even make them until 1964. Mine is two tone orange. I love the split windshield and pie pan headlights. Can you make a DVD on what you are doing with instructions and I will buy it from you. I also want to make each side of my split windshield to crank open. I think they were the coolest vans ever. I really love the work you are doing. It will be so cool that you will be able to raise and lower it like a lowrider and your handling will be much better. Mine is an automatic. You will probably have disk breaks too which is so much better. Please get back to me. Great job!.

Be sure to have Dodge put it through their COMPLETE Post Manufacture testing procedure on Completion of the build...!🤔🎲
All so called builders should be aware Car The Manufactures will always be The Experts and Not The Self Taught Guy....!🤔😆😈😇👍

Just a heads up the thick spacer should go on the same side as the castle nut. It should go Ball joint, Thin washer, spindle arm, 3/8 spacer and castle nut. I hope this is how it was installed in final preparation other wise you will be going threw lots of ball joints.

The shorter the tire wall, the more heat related failure, that why they were designed that way, to disburse heat.

What about the lower door corners in the back? You just coated the weakest part on these vans

Ant makes this look easy. Its not!!! This will cost a small fortune to have a shop do it if you do not have your own lift and can fabricate

I own a A100 van. It's a 1965 model and it have a Slant six. You call the famous slant six rubbish ? One of the most reliable motors ever produced? You talk rubbish. To restore a neglected slant six is easy. And why did you build your own motor brakets instead of using the original well functioning brakets for the V8?
I have these parts waiting on the shelf when I will swap the original 170 slant six for my 273 V8 .With correct ORIGINAL parts the motor is bolt on. No amateur rebuilding needed.
My slant six will be used in my 1966 Plymouth Valiant V100.
I am a Mopar guy since 1980. I was 17 years old when I bought my first 1965 Plymouth Valiant.
    Today I own :
    1956 Chrysler Windsor
    1965 Dodge A100 Van
    1966 Plymouth Valiant V100
1976 Dodge Aspen SE Coupé V8
    I also own :
    1975 Moto Guzzi 850 T3 California motorcycle
1988 Opel Manta GSI Exclusive with the full Recaro kit including the big wing at rear end.
1990 Audi 100 Avant Turbo with 3 speed automatic transmission and black leather interior.
    1990 Audi V8 (d11) .
Next time you shall think twice before you even touch an A100. And especially don't talk shit about the Slant six. The famous leaning tower of power.
This build just show how much of an amateur you are when it comes to rebuild a car.

I'm sure that he meant that the Slant's in a rubbish condition due to neglected maintenance. Not that it was of a rubbish design.
Dropping in the V-8 wasn't done because the Slant was of inferior quality. It was done for making the van fetch a higher price on turnover. Besides, the surf theme and modern suspension fit to a power upgrade better
