    Don't forget about when Peter was intending to kill Chameleon after he found out that his "parents" were actually robots created by him to mentally fuck him up, and also when Peter almost killed Kingpin after Aunt May was shot by his hitman in Civil War

    Okay, this is one those things I feel isn't accurate (especially after watching this). I feel like Spidey has a "I'd rather not kill" rule which is different than Batman's no-kill rule.

      Exactly, Batman is more of a black and white moralist who thinks if you kill your are no better than your enemies. Spider man is more someone who has hope for the redemption of his enemies and harbours empathy for many of them
