i'm italian and I visited morcote few years ago. I think it's very very beautiful, small, romantic, and I think also mediterrean. It's similar to some little villages on the lake here in italy but it has something more, it's a little pearl!
Hi. Morcote is what I call the mini Bellagio :) Bellagio, Varenna, Santa Maria Rezzonico and Menaggio are notably bigger and as romantic. Furthermore, don't forget: Northern Italy is traditionally a very prosporous region :)

The most beautiful village in Switzerland? That is a lot to live up to. I was in love with Grindelwald and Lucerne this July when I visited
I've been studying Italian since visiting Rome over summer, maybe Morcote will give me a chance to try it out with the villagers.

Hi Seann. I did not go to the Castello as it was closed due to the Pandemic. The Parco Scherrer, I have filmed 6 weeks later, but didnt have the time to hike all up again.

Hi Maria. Possibly not every winter, but there can be snow. It really depends. The highest chance to have some snow is in January and February :)

Hey Zane. Thanks for your honest feedback. Is it only regarding the greens? If so, the LUTs I use always turn greens yellow and I need to color correct it. Maybe you have a better suggestion?
DjemoGraphic hi thank you for considering my feedback. Maybe turn down the intensity of the LUT (going for a more natural look)? I myself am still perfecting my color grading, I cant give you anything too specific. I just noticed that the color profile in your videos are a little to intense for me, but I do enjoy the content. I actually traveled to Switzerland and Italy last September 2019. It’s nice to see other videos from the region. I’m not sure how many others have given you similar feedback, but if most people don’t mind it you should be ok with leaving it as is.

Hi. I need to check. I think there might be 5 star hotels, but no 5 star resorts. Morcote is too small and the geography doesn't really allow the construction of resorts. But around Lago di Lugano there are surely some 5 star resorts.

@@justinagritzan Schwierig zu sagen. Ich glaube Morcote ist vorwiegend ein Reiseziel für Schweizer, gelegentlich für Deutsche. Ich war gerade am Pfingsmontag dort, ein verlängertes Wochenende, wo gerade sehr viele ins Tessin fahren. Ein Becher Eis kostet nicht so viel, normale Schweizer Preise eben.

hi your videos are very short why you don't make long videos at least 30 min or higher ?
Hi Amir. Thanks for your comment😊 30 minutes takes a lot of effort. Especially, when posting videos on a nearly weekly base its just not possible to prepare such long videos. I do have some travel guides that are above a 12 minutes long. Some are roughly 18-19 minutes long. Because I decided to priorize quality and being informative, I have to compromise on the length. Walkthrough videos are easy to take and edited fast but this is not the type of video I like to prepare. I prefer a combination of A-Rolls, drone shots, closeups and other type of B-Rolls.

Hi. I work for myself. Sometimes with tourism boards but not in this case. Beauty is subjective. I loved Morcote the most at that time and I guess I am not that wrong when it was voted the most beautiful village by a majority of Swiss back in 2016✌🏼😊
It was part of Italy until the citizens decided to be part of Suisse. The official language is Italian and the cuisine is North Italy.
