It all comes down to levels of traditionality.
In Asia, and elsewhere, a truly traditional woman won't marry outside of her race.
These days, old school traditions are kind of a thing of the past

1) Traditional girls and women in PH marry outside of their “race” (Filipinos are nation, like are Americans) but you have to be a tradional man which most Western guys aren’t.
2) Old school traditions (whatever you mean by that) are not thing of the past even in the parts in my s.ithole Balkan country, not to mention in PH which is a 3rd world country.

I think that in the next few decades we will see a change in those traditional roles. Nowadays, most girls get an education. Many of them go to college and find a job. If they are marrying a Filipino, this is a necessity, because his salary alone won't pay the bills. Just like in the west, working women are the result of new "necessities" that the consumer society has created, only in the Philippines they are 50 years behind us. When I started going to the Philippines 25 years ago, people there didn't have smart phones or tablets. Few had a motorcycle. Eating out was for the rich. But now they want to have it all and they can only achieve that if both partners work. Hence, Filipino children nowadays are raised with the idea that they have to study well and get a good job regardless of their gender. I know young couples in the Philippines who are both working and where the man helps out with domestic chores, just like American or European couples. We are probably the last generation of expats who can benefit from the traditional role of the Filipina. Guys who move to the Philippines in 2040 will be facing a different mentality. At least that is my prediction.

It’s similar to the USA actually, find good girls in church, in the south or country (province) or working hard at a decent job. Avoid girls at the bar and clubs and be careful with the ones online. Easier in person after living there and being introduced by friends or family
What's a traditional wife? If she works is she not traditional? How about women who have a right to divorce their husbands and kill their children...can they be traditional? For me, a traditional wife is Loving, caring, kind, no previous children, dedicated to the family and her husband. And to be clear, a traditional husband must be strong, be a provider, and havimg financial independence is a bonus to being a good husband and father.
For me, it was more effective to seek a partner in a Facebook group. Just post a picture and what your looking for. I had over 700 replies 😅. The one I chose, 5 years ago, happened to be from the province. She's beautiful, kind loving, a simple girl. We were a perfect match and are living a happy life now.

Nice video Gio. Nearly every province has at least one college. To me, the best girl is a province girl who has not been to the city but has graduated college, loves her dad and speaks good English. She will be very traditional. And I want that. I want a young one. Most people say I will have very little in common with a young one. Not true. I am like the Energizer bunny. I love to snorkel, scuba dive, hike and go sailing. I want to take up kite surfing and sky diving. If she loves to do those things, we will have a lot in common and build upon those fun things. I make excellent Mexican and Hunan Chinese food. I can teach her those things and expand her knowledge and abilities. I so want a Filipina. And yes, I have spent a lot of time in the Philippines. It will be my home base soon.

The advantage of living close to the beach is it's super easy to cool off. No AC needed. I am moving there this year, God willing, and I will be beach front. I love the ocean. I lived one block from the beach in Hawaii. Now I want right on it. Fans alone can cool a house right on the beach.
I have said on your channel before and I will say it again, the best Filipina is one who grew up in a province then went to the city for awhile and came back to the province. The best of both worlds. It also helps that we met on Chtristian Filipina

Finding a traditional Filipina or just a traditional spouse requires patience. Do your due diligence! Some people are good at showing a good face upfront and you don’t really get to know them until many months or even years down the road. Most people will leave clues to their true intentions, no matter how good that they are at hiding them. The key is to not ignore the “red flags” when you see them. As for the guys, we should honor our wives and girlfriends. If we want traditional we should be somewhat traditional ourselves.

Hey Gio, I watched many your videos, and I think they are good enough but this one is weak. I highly disagree with some parts, and I partially agree with other.
1) The large part of video is just an ad for Christian Filipina dating site.
OLD is a massive waste of time, and in CF case, it's going to cost you a lot. Sure, there is a minority of authentic Filipina girls and women online, but the deck is so stacked againts you, so simply avoid it.
2) Sadly Gio like so many other Western expacts simply refuse to outright say where to find traditional Christian Filipina, and just promote CF. It’s relatively simple.
3) I mostly agree that province vs city girl is not black white comparision as long as you stay away from expat and tourist cities.
Also, there is a big issues that it seems so many guys come to PH looking for traditional girlfriend or wife, and yet, they are not themselves. Many are just bunch of hypocrites and equivalent of average feminist Karen who think if she sleeps with a top man (give s.x for free) that she is going to lock him.
The male equivalent thinks that just because he has enough money (rich by PH standards) that he is entitled to traditional Filipina. It doesn’t work like that.

The humidity in the Philippines is NOT as high as it is in the summertime in the Southern states of America. Not even close.

I think everyone has their own idea of what they consider traditional. I've met women who said that they were progressive, yet everything that they did was considered traditional to me . I think a truly traditional Filipina woman wouldn't even consider looking at a foreign man as a husband because, more than likely, the family wouldn't approve of it . They wouldn't even approve of a cross regional relationship like tagolog to bisiyan as they have their own little prejudices going on. So what you are going to find is a woman who is probably modernized but was raised by parents who were more traditional leaning. I am the Cano lol, which is an in general term like Mumbai is people from the Middle East and eastern Asia. Most of the women you come across are actually working outside of the home in retail and the food services industry. If they are still in school or college then they may be fortunate enough to have a family that can afford to send them but remember that she is probably the only one of her siblings that is able to do this and a lot is riding on her success which could include you. Take your time and enjoy the process, and remember that you are not obligated to do anything that you don't want to do. Some guys may think it's a great thing to go to her province and meet her family but just remember that they are thinking that you are going to marry her and when you decide that you don't want to see her anymore that she could lose face with her family and be embarrassed so be cautious.

Wow! I was under the impression that provincial ladies liked to stay near family. I'm looking for land near Malaybalay because it's likely to be more like the place I originally planned on retiring to. It's never been about the women but I think it's more likely that I'll meet someone who understands my lifestyle choices if she's already living similarly. The difference is that we won't have utility bills. I'm on solar with rain collection in a small city in Oklahoma. If I can raise rabbits and chickens there then I will and we can grow vegetables too. I don't understand why people work so hard to give their money to someone who doesn't work at all.

For us Millennials and Gen Z we have our own traditional relationships now. Different from what the older folks maybe used to. Our generation is about social media online, tiktok, show our bodies off, etc. Many of the boomer generations specifically can't keep up nor connect well on any level. You're all better off with someone your age bracket, perhaps a widow/ofw.
All kinds of issues with todays generation, lacking social skills, depression and the list goes on and on. I am sure you are on antidepressants and have ADHD and lack social skills also.
@@GiointhePhilippines quite the opposite I have pretty decent software job and backpacked the world now stopping over in Phils briefly. Have many options and play sports everywhere, am 6'3. Nothing wrong with the younger generation many have loads more opportunities to meet people than ever before. Go to places like HK, South Korea, Japan, Thailand, etc and everyone uses mobile phones for every possible transaction now. Booking train tickets, meeting people, directions, shopping, watching Korean drama, AI lookups, etc. Women in many countries make better incomes now which is a GOOD thing. It's called progression. I'd think many of the old lonely guys from previous generations are the ones battling isolation, can't keep up with the changing dating market landscape, and need their anti depressant pills if anything because either they pivot and change their mindset or stay being delusional. Most Filipinas are into Kpop now and younger Korean guys and other Filipinos. I been with hundreds on Bumble, Tinder, etc to know their interests of the average one. My line of work is working with machine learning and AI. Things are going to rapidly changed the next few years some more so better embrace it because the so called old tradition thing is no more.
