      Glad you found it valuable! The time I shot this video, I already graduated, hence the long shifts. During your enrollment at a university, it would be only 20 hours per week, hence shorter or less shifts :-) The other secret is getting out of the comfort zone! :-)

    My classes will be 5 days a week duration of the classes will be 5 to 6 hours each day. And Sat Sunday will be off. Right now I am in India. Idk how things work over there. But is it possible to land a job with such schedule at Tim Hortons?

    What did you answer when they asked you 'Don't you think you're overqualified'? How did you get that job?

      I told them that it’s COVID and it’s taking time for people to get those corporate jobs, hence I would not leave them soon(which was what they were scared of). That's another story that I got a corporate job soon

      You need to apply for your work permit and then you can work legally.

    Is it true like you can work more than 20hrs /week on campus in all University ? and how people tend to manage their study alongwith

      Yes, you can work more than 20 hours on campus if you are a full-time student. Regarding management, it is just effective time management and the classes are mostly thrice a week, so you will be able to find time to work 20 hours for sure.

    Hey Bani! Are part time jobs enough to cover your expenses? How much on an average can one earn while working part time?

      Yes, in Ontario, one can earn $1000-$1100 (CAD) on min wage and that is enough for a student.

      Yes but you might be able to skip it if you get it through referral and then you would just have an interview for formality sake.

    How sad, the 'reference' jugaad is even worse in Canada than it is in India huh? Real sad. It should be TALENT that should matter, not 'I know xyz' 'Tu janta nahi mera baap kaun hai' type crap.

      Here it’s more of building your own network rather than “mom dad referral”.

      So basically jugaad is jugaad, reference is reference. Whether someone got it from their friend or their father, in my eyes, it's the same.
