Bungie did lie. I spent nearly 1,000 tokens twice. The first 1k tokens only got me 2 "shiny's and the 2nd time only 3. I will not be giving Bungie a dime anymore and haven't for a while. They're too greedy of a company and have trash content. But keep sticking up for them clowns.

Doubling the drop rate of weapons with an already really really really low drop rate just isn’t worth it because it’s still too low especially when 99% is garbage
I have no idea how my onslaught RNG is as good as it is. I've ran every dungeon 10+ times and have Buried Bloodline thats it. Never had a raid exotic drop. But in onslaught I have probably 600-700 wave clears and have every 7/5 shiny I could want and still have over 500 trophies of bravery to turn in. Saw I had 13 engrams at Shax today got 3 shinnies outta 13. Are you guys using the trick from Cheese forever? After you set weapon attunement you have 15 seconds to open the chest by Shax and it will only drop what you are attuned to in that 15 second window. Doesn't guarantee shiny drops but at least you can target farm.

The first day of reset, I didn't get crap on Shinies. I think it was today that I had multiple of them drop after drop after drop. The ones on the HoC didn't do much to alleviate the drop rates. Might just use those Trophies to get the armor sets.

Completed a 50 wave and opened 20 chests straight after and not a single shiny. Its just an ornament, I dont care for it anymore

There is no way they don’t but a >1.0 multiplier on the better perks for RNG.
