I was 1 when pokemon came out so I was too small to appreciate it when the craze emerged. But I started watching the show at 3. I enjoyed it. I'm 23 now. Still love it to this day
Pokemania was crazy. All any of us did as kids in our small town was talk, play, and watch pokemon. Every birthday party was pokemon, every new toy was a pokemon figure, it was wild
Absolutely wild, man. I mention a lot on the show that a teacher shamed me in front of the whole class when I was a kid by saying “no one will remember this in 20 years” when she took my Pokémon cards. My son has had a ton of Pokémon birthdays. My house is filled with merch for my son and daughter (and me) and it’s still the highest grossing video game franchise ever. That initial mania and the legacy even. Nothing else like it.
