When you said "but it is not lovely" for the toilet cleaner it cracked me up. So funny!
Glad you like your Wushtof chef's knife. I have been using mine daily for years. I would recommend a small paring knife next. Thank you for sharing.
Thanks for sharing as always! Good selection on your knife. I used to have a similar knife by Wusthof but have since lost it and need to replace it. It was my favorite knife! If you can, take a good knife skills class. It will help you be more brave about using your knife. I took a couple several years ago and it made a huge difference in my confidence when using a sharp knife.
Great idea!
I have the same knife, it is a great knife but the 5 inch santoku is the knife I use everyday. I can’t wait to see your kitchen reveal. 😃
My fave of the month is Home St sprouted grain bread - it's gluten free, dairy free and soy free (which I've had to reduce) and even though it's not the cheapest, it makes me feel like my life is not over haha. I had 2 and a half fillings done yesterday and the bread was very nice this morning.
They do good products!
I've just finished the book, The girl from Widow Hill by Megan Miranda that I really enjoyed.
Thanks for the recommendation :)
Oh is that why I have noticed so many more ads on youtube? Like some of them have so many! That ASMR video sounds so good. I like ASMR eating videos (I know! Weird as)
EEEEWWWWWW! I cannot stand the sounds of people eating *blurgh*
A Thousand Words bahahhababa at first I didn’t but now I like it. So weird I know!
Unexpected cover😁
*insert SCREAM* I can't wait to see the new kitchen. I've been waiting for that. haha. I know you have been as well and you must be thrilled to bits. I love my Wusthof knives. I have the one you have and the Santoku 5". I want the bread knife but $80 to slice bread hurts too bad. ;) J. loves anything lemon, so i'll give the bars a try and save him a few calories. :D Hope you guys are doing well and looking forward to summer. I am so looking forward to fall.
I'm busy rendering the video now, will upload it soon, I promise!
Hope you enjoy the lemon bars! x
NZD60 for that knife is a steal. Those are €60 over here. That's a 4562 i think? I'd suggest 4060 / 10cm (4") Veggieknife for "just about everything else". Same brand same series. And you really don't want those in the knifes drawer. Once you grab one at the business end you know why :D Thanks fo sharing
Will definitely check out that size, sounds like a good all rounder.
@@AThousandWords It is. The 4060 has a rounded pointy tip. There is another inferior one with a kind of v-shaped tip i wouldn't recommend.
@@peterpain6625 Good to know, thanks for the tip! (no pun intended lol)
Thank you for this video, Jen, I would like to recommend you an author I've been reading for the past few years and it is Jodi Picould. She's an american author and her latest novel , "The book of two ways" is coming out this September 22nd, I just can't wait to read it))
She's great - thanks for the heads up about her new book!
We watched cabins in the wild too and really enjoyed it. You may like tiny house nation (I think it’s called) on Netflix. Looking forward to he kitchen reveal 😁
Yes, we enjoyed watching that series too! So fun to watch the work but not have to do it lol
A Thousand Words yes, definitely more fun watching it than doing the work yourself 😂. Also check out Living Big in a Tiny House on RUclips if you haven’t already. He’s NZ based but does tiny house tours all over the world.
The Dutch House by Ann Patchett is a really good read
Thanks for the suggestion!
If you watched the first series of ‘Dirty John’ on Netflix I would recommend the second series which was equally as good.
Thanks for the recommendation. I haven't seen the first season but did listen to the podcast.
