It’s so good to hear from you again, Jen! I often think about how difficult it really is for RUclipsrs to post videos of their lives AND so often. This is not a TV show, this is your life and as much as I think all of us appreciate you sharing your life, in the end your happiness is top priority. You sacrificed a lot of hours filming, editing, and communicating with everyone and I agree that you should give yourself that time away. I would love to see more videos of NZ towns! Thank you for doing that. We still plan to emigrate in a few years and Taranaki is most likely our destination (husband works in oil and gas industry). Could you show us a few more snippets of New Plymouth, Fitzroy, Bell block, and surrounding areas? Which of those areas do you think real estate is the least expensive? Love you, Jen! ❤️

LOL he only gets his learner's licence when he turns 16 next March! But he's been saving and working hard for ages and watching sales of his dream car (Mazda MX5) and a great deal came along so he bought it. He just can't drive it yet!

Pad Thai is the perfect starter dish! Rice noodles in a peanut sauce. I actually prefer tofu in mine (not vegetarian) but chicken is also good. Thai Tea is delicious with it, but not sure about it with your dietary restrictions. It’s a blend of black tea with sweetened condensed milk (could use coconut milk!) Even to make at home....so yummy!

Your vlogs are something I miss as I've always found them to be informative, entertaining, inspiring, comforting and helpful in so many ways (not least the early part of this year when they were a tonic in the midst of all the horribleness going on) but it makes absolutely perfect sense that you'd only make vlogs if you feel inspired to do so. Whatever happens I'll remain grateful for all the vlogs you've shared with us. I am also a fan of your Vlogs, i find they instantly make me happy, but i understand that you dont want to share your personal life so much. We're in queenstown right now and the surrounding otago area is well worth visiting. Not just the queenstown area but further afield like lake tekapo 😊
Hi Jen. My partner and l live in Nelson and recently just returned from another road trip around the South lsland. There were so many kiwi out there in campervans and cars doing the same thing. Stark change from things pre covid. There are lots of tour and accommodation operators working in conjunction with each other offering amazing discounted packages. We encountered soooo many people from the north lsland during our travels, especially in Queenstown. We had a wonderful 10 days on the road and are glad we went when we did because come Christmas and New years it is predicted that kiwis are going to snap up all these package deals and the 'house will be crowded' so to speak. Anyway...hope you and Grant enjoy your holiday when yous do go. Another great vid, thanks for sharing 👍
I get the lack of mental bandwidth thing. We all have it even in NZ this year. I'd love to see travel vlogs and a laundry update would be great. I miss seeing your gardening updates. I don't mind the DYT stuff, it was just Carol's attitude to you I didn't like.
