    Hameed, I ahve a similar problem. After 3 years of use and cleaning both filters after every load, there is still an accumulation of lint on the evaporator coil. Since the only path for dryer air to the evaporator is thru two filters thru a sealed enclosure, I figured that dryer air must be getting past the filter seal on the secondary filter. The green gasketing material on the secondary filter is cobby and dosent seal properly. I found some very narrow speaker gasketing foam (1/4” wide x 1/8” thick), I had left over from a stereo install and applied that in a continuousl strip around the back side sealing edge on the filter box that seals against the white material of the safety screen that protects the evaporator fins from damage. After doing this the filter locks much more securely against the screen face and I believe will greatly reduce lint bypassing the filter box. Time will tell.

    Excellent video sir 😮, just today I too k a flashlight and looked at condenser coil behind the pullout filter and had same clogged view . This is after a years use so typical of new technologies trying to save the planet actually turn out to be expensive disasters . I’m sure the bill to tear apart her dryer and clean it far surpassed any energy savings and I’ll tell you already that by time I do what you just did will be the one and only as a resistant old style electric is going to replace it.
    Typical complete engineering failure throughout its air handling ducts !
    Thks again

    Great video! I'm currently working on the same issue. Additionally, customer complained about some strange noise. Turned out, their tenants at some point did not insert a lint screen and a foreign object got down to a blower wheel and broke off several blades and damaged many other blades. Had to order new blower wheel as well as new drive belt, support rollers and few shafts.

    I have same unit and it also has an issue of cooling down the motor. Just not enough air movement inside despite the aux fan. So the motor stops spinning at the middle of cycle (thermal protection) and since there is no speed sensor the mother board doesn’t recognize the stopped motor and continues the cycle. The solution for that is to knock out closest to the front round tap on the left side panel (if you look at the dryer from the front. There are two of them and you can see them on the video at 1:42). It will improve the air movement inside and the motor will be properly cooled.

    • @wberpunk

    • @ksngs78
      @ksngs78 Месяц назад

      @@wberpunk look at left panel - there are two round depressions in the panel (aka knockouts). Open the closest one to the front. You need to take the panel out to do it, since there is a cooper tube for the compressor.

    Excellent video on how to complete this job! For anyone wondering if this is possible to do yourself I can tell you that it is as long as you have some experience with basic tools and disassembly/assembly skills.
    Whirlpool Corp, you should be ashamed of yourselves for the terrible engineering in the design of this appliance. The dust filters are not sufficient to prevent these issues and the design of the appliance requires full disassembly to effectively clean.
