- The second day of the Russia-Africa Summit in St. Petersburg opened Friday with leaders of major African states and organizations arriving to be greeted by Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Yep Africa intentions are good but I don’t trust China or Russia. There’s a saying when someone shows you who there are believe them the first time. I honestly feel like China is only helping Africa build their countries so they can push the African continent into debt and Russia is in on it. I think Russia is really influencing Africa to push western countries out is because has nothing to to do natural resources or a better future it’s because they America has one the strongest militaries in the world and Africa will be left vulnerable if they start taking over and collecting Africa’s land. China is trying to become New France mark my words.

Putin: Africa Becoming Center of Power
"I would like to note right before our eyes the African continent is becoming a new center of power, its political and economic role is growing exponentially. And everyone will have to reckon with this objective reality," Putin said at the Russia-Africa summit.
I doubt if Africa is becoming center of power the real reason these African leaders are showing support is because the great Russia never colonize them but helped a lot of the African countries in 1960s and 1970s to gain their independence from colonial rule and they are showing their appreciation 0:45

America, Russia and France know exactly what they are after
Very wishful thinking when they can't even seem to utilize their agricultural sector properly. Ukraine alone supplied 11% of African imported grain. Fix this problem and then we are talking world power.

I remember collecting stamps from Upper Volta as a kid. Things have gone to hell since. The last coup in Burkina Faso was Sept of 2022. The country is best known for terrorism and kidnapping. Perfect substitute retreat for Russians looking to find another vacation spot other than Crimea. What's even more perfect for Russians is that there's no legal drinking age and alcohol related deaths are at an all time high. Helps that Wagner took a gold mine there to help prop up the government. ;)

Africa has 54 countries. Majority don’t trust putin, majority still standing with the west. Including me, only 17 presidents out of 54 are pro Russia. Majority are pro west. The real presidents are 17 out of 54 countries.some presidents didn’t want to attend so they sent their delegates

Africa has 54 countries. Some French speaking countries have problem with France, many English speaking countries in west Africa, tend to be more pro west. They don’t trust Putin.
I get your point clearly and I understand the context and it will be great to see ALL the leaders of the Asian countries lined up together to meet with 1 African leader at a time.. the fact that we never get to see such images is of concern because it's a regular occurrence the other way around.. Same with hhe US, they summons ALL the African leaders, shuttle them in school busses to meet with ONE man.. I can't recall seeing that role reversed with any European, Asian and North American Leaders all travelling together to meet with African leaders.. I stand to be corrected as I may be misinformed but the photo opp is not pleasing to the spirit. I however get and understand your point of view as it's valid
