As an Admin Assistant, this line of work for me is very similar. You have attention to detail skills, organizational skills, time management, confidentiality, and multitasking. You also have to be very humble because you're given commands and deadlines constantly. I think Kyle's Assistant was very skilled. I'm sure Kylie was grateful.

@@amaetika - I have done the job (can't say who). You are basically a badly paid dogsbody with a few perks thrown in. But certainly an experience that I would not change......so go for it! My best suggestion is to have a good set of useful skills (i.e) know how to cook, iron, set a table, make cocktails, silver service for dinner parties, drive, groom pets, organize hotels and travel itineraries, type memos (learning shorthand is very useful), etc...
That job would be pure hell..can you imagine 24/7 ?? Damn you'd never get time for yourself I know that. It better pay fucking good too as in 3 figures at least! Nothing less than $175k a yr.

Why do we always hear stories about personal assistants just up and quitting, but they are always besties after they leave their personal assistant job? My fav are the reasons why they leave: 1) it was just time 2) we were blurring the lines of friend/employee 3) they never leave for another job which is weird. These positions are oxymoronic meaning you need to be able to multitask, be extremely professional, perfectionist, be on call, keep confidences, no private life, have a skillset better than the ceo of most Fortune 500 companies, be a high achieving person, yet be okay with never wanting more out of life than being a servant to a multi-billionaire family. That just doesn't jive. These personal assistant, nanny, office manager positions have a shelf-life of 5 years (imo). You cannot have these highly skilled women working for you seeing the lux life and not wanting that for their own life. Plus burn out. They never have their own lives. I've never heard or seen this Victoria chick until I watched this video. I doubt I will ever see her again.
