@@garyallen7675 agree, for the price it’s one hell of a rod, I take it to the Great Lakes to fish for steelhead, and it works just fine, I also take it down south for flounder (flounder don’t hit very hard, so a light rod helps detect hits)
Me and my buddy use slip floats exclusively for big panfish. Most panfish rods have too small of guides toward the tip for our rubber bobber stops to pass.
I’ve only had the second series for a little but I think overall the second series is better and I like that a little more. The color coordination also looks better with a lot more styles of reels as well!

That is a good point, I can see where there would be an issue with the slip getting stuck on the guide, thanks for the input !!
