Normally... I'm not a fan of "drum covers" but your work here is outstanding... The playing is great and the technical production of the video/audio blows away most drum cover channels I've seen on RUclips. Very classy stuff!

What I fell in love with when I was a kid was more his sound (and the look of his kit ;)), and the purpose of doing these videos is to try the capture a similar sound and feel, rather than the drumming itself. The fact that I end up playing similarly comes as a consequence of a few factors, the most important being to "mask" the original drum track as much as possible. On the other hand though while I have zero intention to be a replica of him, I have to admit I might've watched too many of his videos when I was a kid... 🤓 And the green kit doesn't help either... 😀 Glad you liked it...

He's not a lefty per se, just truly ambidextrous and plays open style, left hand lead. Every drummer should aspire to be able to do this. Most can't.
