The band is crazy talented , but I gotta give a huge shoutout to the audio guy. Even good bands can sound shitty if you don’t know what you’re doing with the audio, but this......this was PROFESSIONALLY mixed.
Don't get me wrong guys. It doesn't sound bad. From my experience as a sound engineer (a while back) I just felt like there is room for improvenent. Especially when the musicians play so well, the mix should reflect that excellence by letting every instrument shine. Nothing major, just a couple dBs here and there.
Masterpiece is an understatement. I would pay multiple times to see yall play live... the precision, power, and attention to detail deserves the utmost respect!
I think this was the hardest ultimate medley to do Toto isn't a easy band to cover. Great musicians, beutiful sound, thanks for sharing. Greetings from south of Chile.
Every time I watch and listen to the Miller session band perform an 'Ultimate' set I am simply amazed. The playing is so professional, and it starts with the ability to break out the original band's songs into discrete parts, choosing who will play, sing, or percuss the various elements, then engineer the mix, and lest we forget this is an audio-visual medium, the camera operators and their mixer must be an integral part of the effects. These guys could take a few of their Ultimate sets on the road and wow crowds anywhere. There are good and great bands, but to reverse mix and play already-great music performed originally by other real pros is the epitome of professional music making. What Grammy category fits them? Any? They deserve recognition, that's for sure.
This was phenomenal- my husband asked me from the next room who this was. The bassist sounds so much like Paich I got chills. Kudos to everyone involved.
Sensational! I'm a huge Toto fan and normally don't care for covers because generally they don't measure up as they're a tough act to follow. This is so delightfully fresh and professional! Jeff Porcaro was the groove king whom I love and miss so much! I give a ton of credit to Felix - he's one of thee most tastefully talented drummers around and he played this brilliantly! Nice work from everyone involved here! This is very inspiring!
Every single one there is a total freak, but my special congratulations to Matthias Proctor. His singing managed to be powerful as Joseph Williams' and Bobby Kimball's, but in his own style. Way to go, guys! Excellent work!
I love the way your drummer plays those ghost notes, they add some much flavour to the performance. Congratulations on the mix to let them be audible instead of burying them to the ground like so many others mixers do, ruining the drummer´s job.

Man, I've past the last week only watching this. I'm a big fan of ToTo, Jeff Porcato is one of my favorite drummers and it's so satisfying see you guys playing all those songs... Congrats! And thank you foi this amazing video!
The Toto drummer Jeff, has played on about 100 records. The one I know of is , David Gilmore"s About Face. Check out the songs "Cruise", Murder, to hear some sweet beats. I think his Brother played bass on some or all of that record too.
I've watched/listened to this at least 100 times. Martin is always great, but there is something about this medley. He was just on fire. Every little lick really fits these songs perfectly. I like it better than the original. Matthias' singing is incredible also.
Rosanna was so spot on, that hurts, you guys! My god! What a tribute!! The bass arrangements, the keyboards, the DRUMS, the voices and that guitar! Astonishing!
Most amazing playing I've heard in years. I love the drummer to death, he is an absolute groove monster and you are all on the same level! 10 out of 10 - Most amazing musicianship, Thank you Martin, thank you guys. Please do some touring so we can enjoy this live with you. Cheers Horst Keller
What would Toto sound like with astoundingly skilled musicians? This. Take the drums up to drive the song, take the guitars and make them burst the song, and fit the bass exactly in the pocket, and you push the keys out of the way a bit, but then they pounce out in the solos just so. This is a brilliant interpretation. So glad this drifted across my feed, I'll need to catch up on what I've been missing.
Just FIY, Toto are amazing musicians, go see them live if you wanna see Luckater do some sick solos or watch live play. PS: the Procaro shuffle at the drum is done well but does not groove as well as it should, however it is very hard to get it right even just doing it. Although that they are the best cover I heard of them, Toto created those songs...so all the part that they are just playing. They have not created a thing there
1169 dislikes for this GREAT STUFF ? Shame on all dislikers !!! I LOVE IT ... besides i am a Genesis guy and a classic music pianist..... but this guys here...neary every tone and chord is sitting on the right place ! Greatings from Phuket, Thailand !!
You guys are so good, you’re out of your minds. Really, I would pay to see you guys play live. I said in a comment the other night that I could see you guys gigging in Las Vegas as a Genesis tribute band... but that was only after I’d just seen your Genesis medley. Now I think your act - and the thing that would keep people coming back to see you again and again and again - could be covering a different band every night, or every week. I have no idea what your day gigs are - or whether or not you’re making a living from this gig - but if not, you should find an agent or manager and start making a real living out of this. You guys deserve that. You’re the best cover band I’ve ever seen.
I totally agree! This would be a great set list: Child's Anthem I'll Suuply the Love Georgie Porgie Stop Loving You Hold the Line 99 I'll be Over You Goodbye Elenore
@@AnimalHouseforReal Too much of the same album I think. Already here I think it's kinda "sad" that on 6 tracks, Toto IV and Tambu had 2 each and the two left were only from the late 90s - 00s era (my favorite toto era but some late 70s - middle 80s representation would have been nice imo).
I never would have thought of paying the amount of compliments I have done for Martin Miller and his band. They really are geniuses playing the covers they do, respecting the 100% original and they have really made me go back to my adolescence when these songs were on the radio. I thank them very much. This enormous possibility of recreating these songs and listening to them by young and very good musicians. professionals thank you very much
Wow, holy crap. I started listening and I couldn't stop. You all killed it. Each one of you intrigued me in your own way. The guitar player, man, you got some serious chops. The drummer, right in the pocket. You were an absolute pleasure to listen to.
we should accept this as "musical taste".. for my-self i am ignoring how many ppl disliked this masterpiece. i think that is the gold standart differs this from pop music.
So much 'FEEL" in this group, Lost for words really. Every musician in this band is great. You can tell they all have great ears. Mind blown. I know they are playing TOTO, but they do put their own personal touch on it intentional or not.
The drummer is the best part of the band. What , I meant the singer , the other singer. No the bass player , is in the key board player. Oh F**k. They’re all to good

Great song selections and nice transitions. I was happy to hear "I will remember" as well. You are all just perfect. Skills, sounds... Guitars, drum fills, everything. Unfortunately no one is making songs like this anymore. Toto, Queen and Purple just knew what they were doing.
I do not understand why "I will remember" completely flew under the radar back when it was released outside of true Toto fans. This is such a stunningly beautiful song that is easily up there with some of the ultra famous rock ballands of the 90s. As for part 2, waiting for "Wings of Time" for @martin Miller to SHRED!!!!!!
This band is so good ... and this is one of their best bits of work ... it’s a medley I keep coming back to ... and every time I do there’s a wonderful line or segment from someone that I spot for the first time ... whether it’s the bass, drum, keyboards or guitars ... absolutely out of the park ... and then you think about the brilliance of the mix ... I hope the guys from Toto pick this up ... I’m sure they’d be impressed too
I agree, but early stuff. 1990s. Somehow, despite the amazing musicality and imagination, I found the later stuff hard to stick with. These guys are certainly up to it, though.

@@andrewsweet5186 exactly!
@@sasaadamovic5963 Have your heard the About Face album or the songs I mentioned?
The singer, simply a beast!!! the best singer i have heard for long time.A genius!!
They all are insanely talented.
I've watched/listened to this at least 100 times. Martin is always great, but there is something about this medley. He was just on fire. Every little lick really fits these songs perfectly. I like it better than the original. Matthias' singing is incredible also.
Same here, I keep coming back and getting goosebumbs every time.
Rosanna was so spot on, that hurts, you guys! My god! What a tribute!! The bass arrangements, the keyboards, the DRUMS, the voices and that guitar! Astonishing!
Incredible bass at Africa. Congratulations and greetings from Czechia
Matthias is such a powerful vocalist!! The harmonies are amazing! Several times through this mix the hairs on my body stood on end!
Hearing them covered so well... reminds you how good TOTO was/is... well done gents
Thank you, Martin, for covering Toto! One of my all-time favorite bands! Steve Lukather is my guitar hero. His talent is endless! Thanks again!!!
That drum intro for Africa! My English isn't good enough to comprehend how good that sounded. Brilliant!!
I haven't ever heard something like this in my life from a tribute band. Simply FANTASTIC, EXQUISITE and with such a groove in here!
Damn! This was tight and talented! TOTO is one of THE most underrated bands, thanks for giving it the respect it deserves.
BY FAR THE BEST TOTO COVER/MEDLEY THERE WILL EVER BE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
FLAWLESS PLAYING FROM EVERYONE, ARRANGEMENT & FLAWLESS PRODUCTION...
10/10 MAN!!!!!!
Guys, killed it. The best Toto tribute medley I’ve seen anywhere, hands down. Keep ‘em comin’!
Being a great Toto’s fan, I appreciate your music, the band and your energy !
Holy shit this is amazing! I hope this gets into the hands of the Toto guys somehow, they need to see this.
Nigel Nunes if I ever go to there show and get the VIP tickets I'll ask them to watch this at soundcheck they must see it
The Ultimate TOTO Medley 2 please!
I totally agree!
This would be a great set list:
Child's Anthem
I'll Suuply the Love
Georgie Porgie
Stop Loving You
Hold the Line
99
I'll be Over You
Goodbye Elenore
@@AnimalHouseforReal Too much of the same album I think. Already here I think it's kinda "sad" that on 6 tracks, Toto IV and Tambu had 2 each and the two left were only from the late 90s - 00s era (my favorite toto era but some late 70s - middle 80s representation would have been nice imo).
Tbm concordo.
Pamela
Bhodisattva, girl goobye, mindfields, lion, hydra, stop loving you, pamela, hold the line, waiting for your love, etc
I'm coming off of several weeks of bingeing on Toto and I have to say you guys are just KILLING it . You all sound great.
Now you gotta learn French and watch this: ruclips.net/video/S44OtKn2rkw/видео.html
I don't think I've heard any band do so much justice to the ingenuity of Toto. This... all of it was different, modern, yet sublime, yet Toto-ish...
I found your channel in the pandemic. With your medleys u guys saved my year. It would be great if u play "Hold the line". Greetings from Argentina
hold the line exactly
130 dislikes? Green eyed monsters. This was ABSOLUTELY incredible! These guys are real players with so much emotion. I felt that. Epic
Dislikes is from who like house music..
we should accept this as "musical taste".. for my-self i am ignoring how many ppl disliked this masterpiece. i think that is the gold standart differs this from pop music.
Dislikes are from brainless people
Dislikes are from Toto fans.
We need a Journey Medley, Stixx, Kansas, Boston. Yall are the best band I've ever heard...wow
yes sir it is!
If you like this, go listen to Parcels
I was thinking the same, mayhe we should donate more, so they can make more medley's?
So much 'FEEL" in this group, Lost for words really. Every musician in this band is great. You can tell they all have great ears. Mind blown. I know they are playing TOTO, but they do put their own personal touch on it intentional or not.
christodav what's wrong with Toto...?
Jeff. Porcaro. :)
The drummer is the best part of the band. What , I meant the singer , the other singer. No the bass player , is in the key board player. Oh F**k. They’re all to good
The drummer is a Paiste artist, so...
everyone is great
And everyone has the best equipment avalaible!
@@felipezh That's not the reason we play well tho.
@@MartinMillerGuitar You guys are phenomenal. Years of practice of craft and artistry at work.
Normally I can't stand covers, either the band is not good or they try to make an exact copy and it just doesn't fly.
Very impressive gents, I'd pay to see a show of this quality.
All of these guys are sooo talented. The singer hitting the hight notes, the drummer, uhh everything!! Loved it!
Great I loved the Rosanna piano solo! Would have loved to see Hold the Line. You guys are amazing
The vocals on "I Will Remember" are stellar. Way to go, Martin.
Man this is too perfect to be true! Absolutely flawless arrangement, musicianship and performance. Splendid
0:00 Falling in Between
3:34 África
6:40 very beautiful bass solo
8:06 I Will Remember
12:02 Dave's Gone Skiing
15:54 Rosanna
18:46 epic piano solo
19:55 Better World
Another great tribute. This band does justice to everything they play. Love it.
Are we gonna glance over how absolutely SAUCED Matthias Proctor's vocals were??
This was my first time watching this and I held a solid grin for 24 minutes and 7 seconds
The drummer is from another planet! Insane skills. The singer carrying the high range is insane! The bass player is insane! The keyboard player is insane! Okay...all of them are amazing!!!
Toto Medley 2
Hold the line
Stop Loving you
Jake to the bone
I'll be over you

Georgy Porgy

YES!!!! They have to! Would be awesome!
Pamela!
Also, Georgy Porgy needs to be in one as well.
@@arvincharles Pamela and Georgy Porgy are both fantastic. There’s so many great songs to chose from. Like These Chains and Fahrenheit
and Hollyana?
It's Super High Level !!! One thing how they playing their instruments, but that Voices! Oh my god! Million thanks!!! Go ahead !!!
Cómo suenan loco!!!! Un lujo escucharlos!!! 🔥🔥🔥 Abrazos Desde Argentina 🇦🇷 ❤️
This is what you get when you get together a group of extremely talented musicians! All instruments and the singers we're spot on! Great Great great job! 👍🏻
This is just a masterclass of each instrument, a masterclass of singing, a masterclass of sound engineering. Ridiculous.
great vocals too! Bobby Kimball's parts are crazy high register. well done
Absolutely.
Great song selections and nice transitions. I was happy to hear "I will remember" as well. You are all just perfect. Skills, sounds... Guitars, drum fills, everything. Unfortunately no one is making songs like this anymore. Toto, Queen and Purple just knew what they were doing.
this is insanely good. from the drums, guitar solo, vocals & bass. everything sounds right.
I’m sure they’d be impressed too
It’s been an absolute joy enjoying your performances during the pandemic, with such a great array of rotating musicians. You guys are amazing!
Just amazing. Hat's off to all of you and especially the drummer. Precise, clean and tasteful.
everything was perfect! love how everyone was playing their instrument! vocals and everything! salute to the sound engineer
So Martin, when will you do dream theater medley? :)
Martin kinda sounds like LaBrie and plays like Petrucci , so.. yeah! Totally ! And even better : Zakk Wylde is on the keyboard :D
can't wait for that, i m an avid follower and i am seeing a lot requesting that DT medley.
Yes pleaaaaaase!
I agree, but early stuff. 1990s. Somehow, despite the amazing musicality and imagination, I found the later stuff hard to stick with. These guys are certainly up to it, though.
at first i thought it was a dream theater cover version of TOTO, seriously
