Just want to say a big thank you to you Jake, (and a "hello" from Andy Pointon, who was one of the judges at Rio, he says you are a proper gentleman). Your videos have helped me massively after restarting archery again after 3 years. I wish I'd had these lessons years ago before I picked up so many bad habits. I've employed the lot of them, and my group size at 20 yards has reduced from about 9 inches diameter to breaking nocks in the space of 30 minutes. Take care and happy shooting. PS, I shoot Border limbs, they really are "exotic" as you put it, but they make my nano carbon WIN&WIN limbs (which I love) feel like a long bow in comparison. Give them a try!
Hi Jake, thanks for this video. It is verry interesting! What about archers who have to use glases to see things better? What typ of sunglases do you recommend?
bifocal is generally bad for archery, not sure about progressive though. If you can just use long distance prescription for it, or you can get an optician to work out a proper prescription just for archery.
Biggest problem for people with high diopters: almost all of the sunglasses that you recommend are not applicable for people with 4.0 diopters. I have fairly high nearsighted diopters (5.0), my glasses are rather thick and only certain types of sunglasses works.

prescription sun glasses? lol. Most of the sunglasses he mention have prescription available.
Hi Jake
Thanks for another very informative clip. Are you able to provide any advice to archers who need prescription glasses?
I'll do one there as well.
Looking forward for it
I wear progressive lenses or bifocal and can not wear contacts what do you recommend.

Would you spend your money on better arrows or sunglasses?
Depends on the arrows and what I was planning on shooting this year.
i have now found out why i shoot to the left when wearing sun glasses
Great and thorough explanation! 👍

Just use contact lenses and then put sunglasses on
Same problem..... cant shoot with prescription glasses so I use contact lenses with sunglasses
In my parents day, the club chairman was an optician, and he insisted that everyone shooting in glasses have plastic lenses in case a limb broke!
What about the normal glasses, the power must be considered
