We've been calling it soccer as a nickname for at least 100 years [short for association football]and some ppl only got funny about it when the Americans started using the term .Nothing wrong with it and the biggest pre match tv programme is Soccer A.M
When you are talking about both American Football and International Football in the same episode, it is best to make sure you are clear in your word choice. The best way to do that is by using American Football and Soccer.

Went to this place twice last year for the NFL. Absolutely breathtaking piece of engineering. If you get chance to go and see it, make sure you do! It's incredible and hands down the best stadium I've ever been to.

It's a great stadium, it is very impressive but lacks that proper football feel which you get at goodison, villa park etc. Great feat nevertheless but I like my grounds old school.
Goodison is a sit hole which is why they will have been trying to get permission for a new ground for years.
The away end is diabolical and a terrible match day experience apart from winning there of course!

That's super smart. I wish baseball stadiums and football (american football) stadiums had their own breweries, they'd save a ton of money, and they'd probably make a better product than Bud, Coors or Miller lite.
I was there a few months ago before lockdown for game, they were charging pretty much the same as a lot of stadiums in London do these days for a Pint, but you didn't feel ripped off because it was a decent quality craft ale as opposed to your standard cheap lager that costs 25-40% less in a nearby bar.
