this bossfight was GENIUS. seriously. having her own theme based off of her music ? a popstar-fighter, with backup dancers as henchmen ? having them fight with ballet killer spins ? and the location being a stage/arena with stripper-inspired cages where they continue dancing, i could go on and on but it's just genius

More than anything, I love how dramatic the fight was, largely due to Courtney's music acting as the boss theme.

From All for One - Into the Nexus all suck (Compared to the old ones) and Tools of Destruction and A Crack In Time are amazing. Quest for Booty is fine since it was only 15-20 bucks and meant to tell where Clank went.

@@PottyBoy9903 IMO it's a feeling kind of like, with Courtney Gears as one example, the original games feel like someone or a team cared about making this cool thing with these neat references and great gameplay. Newer ones feel like a paint-by-numbers "we have to make a new Ratchet game because we have to" rather than because a team really wants to or cares kind of thing.

Best game I've ever played in my entire life.
This was my first experience with franchise continuity as a kid. After Courtney being a side character in Going Commando, I totally didn't expect her to become a villain. It made the game feel so epic.

Cat Craze I actually bought a second hand ps2 about 4 years ago just to play ratchet and clank after the nostalgia vids. Loved it just as much as when I was 6. I’m now moving in with my long term boyfriend in the next 2 months and I’ve bought the game for him to play together so he can experience it ❤️

You know, I got this game as a birthday present when I was 4, and ALL the jokes and sexual references went WAAAY over my head.
Courtney Gears was such a cool character I only wish she was in the games story a lot more, I really liked the whole relationship between her and Dr Nefarious. It was kinda like a joker/harley relationship. Would have loved to see her get developed some more.
Lemme tell you sth. I'm polish and I was around 6/7 yo when I went crazy for these games. I knew 0 English at the time and now going back to this and actually getting the story, jokes and disses feels crazy! My fav games of all the time hands down

Not sure how many people this is relevant to, but NovaShaft made a really good Beat Saber map for this theme. It's amazing. One of the better levels I've played

Also I agree it was really easy, that's why it annoys me that back when it came out it got criticized for having the ending be difficult, I blame the people who didn't take the time to max out weapons or armor.
And here we are in 2023, a game being difficult would earn it high praise. Going back and playing these, it's refreshing to get my ass handed to me from time to time instead of just breezing through.
