92-2000 Honda Civic - How To PROPERLY Install an EBay Exhaust / Cat Back

Thank you to my subscribers that pointed my mistake of installing the center section up side down!
This applies to 92-2000 honda civics
make sure the center section is right or it will hang too low!

I have the same problem, the muffler is too short. I think those are for the EK hatch catback. To make it work you have to use a adapter to extend the pipe to flush the muffler tail pipe.

If it’s still super low I’ve noticed too my aftermarket header and down pipe are a bit longer then stock so sit lower. I cut 2 inches out of the down pipe and now it all sits flush with that and flipping my center pipe

I feel your pain, same thing happened to my Apexi exhaust. Let one of my co-workers install in and resonator was hitting everything but the lottery. Put it on the lift and what do you know upside down.

You can fill the muffler with the clothed that muffler have inside is like a fiberglass material is pretty easy to cut and welded together watch some Video’s about it 👍👍👍

I bought the same exhaust system for my civic and I’m having trouble getting it to fit and I’m thinking mine is upside down as well I hope that’s why it won’t fit. Thanks for the video!!

Video's 2 years old and still useful knowledge, first time iv put a new exhaust on my civic by myself, and i did the same exact thing, just had to flip it 180, and it sits nicely now, no more scrapping 😁
