    Mount the carb on the intake of the turbo and it will work way better. Right now whatever boost you are making is pressurizing what normally should be a vacuum operated carb. The only other option is if you convert it over to EFI, then you can have the throttle body after the turbo.

      I might end up doing that but I don’t want to have the governor bypassed because I still mow with this mower. Thank you for watching!

    You need to put the carburetor in front of the turbo, not behind because the carb needs vacum to work properly but the turbo puts positiv pressure on it so no gas will be sucked out through the nozzle in the carb. Sorry for bad English😂

      I might have to try putting the carb up front, thank you for watching!

    The impeller should turn very easy, and continue to spin. That may be a little too big for that engine. Still a very interesting project.
    I like your oil system. That should work just fine.

      The impeller spins even at an idle, and your probably right about the turbo being to big but I’ll try to make it work. Thank you for watching!

      It sounds good. I hope it works good one thing if you put a good load against the engine, that's when the turbo will show how well its working. You may need to be sure the engine is running at 3600 RPM to get max power, maybe 4000.
      Good luck will be waiting to see how it works for you.

      @@bertgrau3934 So far the turbo has been pretty good. I still need to adjust some things to get it perfect though. I’ll have to look into the engine speed, it seems to be pretty close to the 3600rpms but I’ll have to put a gauge on it.

    Put your carb before the turbo because the fuel bowl will pressurized and run out of fuel.

      I have had a couple people say that already so I might have to try it. Thank you for the info though!

    if you don't end up using this, get a gy6 moped carb with the intake of amazon, they work really good with this flathead

    Ok I love the idea but the boost can have potential to blow up that motor but I am not sure so it might not be what I thought but that’s my theory

      @@Noah-p7d5o it definitely could but I never got it running good with the turbo set up so I put it back to stock. Thank you for watching!

    Take that wobbling pulley off on top of your flywheel it will thought your engine out of balance.

    • @specialt9744
      @specialt9744  Год назад +1

      I keep it on there so I can use it as a pull start if the battery dies and it’s not to heavy so it doesn’t throw off the engine balance. Thank you for watching!
