Great video, Thank you for sharing and taking us along on your visit. Hope you and your loved ones have a great weekend ! And if applicable, Happy Mother's Day ! Cheers, Tony
Hello Olha! Interesting video tour of the exhibition! It's nice to know that ship modelers all over the world are united by the desire for beauty and creativity. Thank you!
@@OlhaBatchvarov Absolutely! Being creative and build new things with your own hands is so rewarding! I'm not building ships, but a 1:1 size B747-400 flight simulator. A great community and hobby as well! Borders, religions and colors does not matter. Olha, I love to relax while watching your great videos!
I read on a forum that Greg Herbert would present his Speedwell at the 39th annual in New London. I remembered you had a video about this event. And BANG, first model you present to us, the Speedwell is here!!! It is this model that Greg built and photographed and which was used for the two books on the Speedwell with David Antscherl and himself. David carved the ornaments on this ship. It gives me chills to see this!!! )))
Yes, this is the same model from David's books. Both David and Greg were at the exhibition. We were able to chat a bit... It's an incredible feeling to see a model live. You imagine it from a book, but when you see it in reality (not from close-up photographs) you can finally feel its true scale!
The more I model the more I see in other models and the more ideas I pick up. Soon will be relocating to another state. Must decide what stays and what goes! Have to decide which ship to build.
Amazing and wonderful show ! Do some of these models actually have Teak Wood ? Thank You for sharing this birds eye view of the BEAUTIFUL displays 😇 ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thank you! I loved watching this - I wish we'd do something like this in my area! I was interested in the Egyptian boat and that somebody created their rendition of Noah's Ark. But my favorite is still the Ragusian Carrack - that ship is more like a piece of fine are than any ordinary ship model,
Damn. I lived for five years on the U.S.S. Forrestal. If you showed the starboard side, I could point to the exact spot our "coop" was up against the hull. I remember falling asleep to the sound of waves hitting the hull and the banging of the JP5 pump line that rises along the up the side of the forward starboard quarter.
Thank You very much for a wonderful video. Not only are the visuals stunning, but the music is wonderful. Can you please tell me the name of the piece of music that is being played?
I really like it when you show us such exhibitions, it's wonderful to see. I noticed Chuck Passaro's model, was he there, did you meet him? He is so well known and respected in this environment... Thank you for this beautiful visit all in exquisite piano music.
My pleasure! I am glad you like it! Yes, I met Chuck in the previous year at the same conference. Very nice person and ready to help if you have difficulty finding materials, etc...
Hi Olha, was glad to see your ship the Ragusian Carrack in the show. Thanks for the video of this show and showing some amazing model ships. Question, the Confederacy is just a hull model wooden ship and not a complete ship with mast and rigging? Was just curious.
A large selection of beautiful models. However, the most beautiful model is your Ragusian Carrack. I hope your eyes are good again.
Thank you very much!
I really feel much better and I can work on my models again...
Beatiful prsentation of beautiful ship models!
Many thanks!

A lot of beautiful models there. But the cat boat has a special place in my heart.
So, did you do any shopping 😉. Stay safe 🌲
I am glad you liked it!
Of course I did!))))
New book, a set of mini planes and a shelf-organizer for tools))))

That’a girl. I like the little chopper you showed in the tools, I think it’s from Canada.
Amazing and wonderful show !
Do some of these models actually have Teak Wood ?
Thank You for sharing this birds eye view of the BEAUTIFUL displays 😇
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I don't think that the models have this wood, it has too large grains but the stands and display cases may well be...
A feast for the eyes🙂
Yes, it really is!

I'm glad you liked it.
So cool to see many ships gathered together like this. Easily recognise the one you're working on.
Thank you very much!
Yes, my carrack also took part in the show...

I have an Artlist license and have been using their soundtracks for two years now...

Yes, I think the CONFEDERACY was a completed model.
Wow!
Este é um incrível tesouro de inspiração!
beautifull
Thank you! 😊
👍
sure is getting smaller each year !!
Compared to last year, just the opposite...
