yes I do! I have a membership where I release a new Mat class each week (and Reformer too if you have one) and we do a monthly live class! You can send in video of your form, get questions asked etc! Go to onlinepilatesclasses.com/youtube for a trial! xx~LL
upper ab engagement includes arm/back connection first. So you want to make sure you're moving your arms from your back to have access to upper abs. Do you have access to other equipment? Because if you had access to a spine corrector you can do the ab series with the barrel supporting your upper back. If you don't use a bolster or ball to help prop you up. I have some tutorials using a ball to prop up my chest on this channel. I'll go live showing some of these in January!
I don't have access to a spine corrector. I am not sure where my disconnect is - I have a very curved lumbar spine which sometimes makes it seem impossible to get that imprint in Teaser - I'm not sure where I disengage exactly but training my brain not to dump into flexibility and hypermobility which is a challenge (because frankly it's easier :) Thanks for responding. I'll stay tuned for Jan and more tutorials on OPC and here@@OnlinePilatesClasses
@@brandiedaicoff8021 gotcha! Good news, no need to "imprint" anything! Pilates has to move a bit faster than imprinting can go. Ideally, you're not skipping anythign or coming up like a "mouse trap" snapping. But, it sounds like you might need some glute, hamstring help and some connection of your arms to your back. I'd have to see you do a teaser or a roll up to give you the most accurate help and support. Are you an OPC meber? If you are you can send a video of you doing the exercises and tell you what's happening :) I'm happy to help! xx

For upper abs - what exercise(s) do you recommend where I have to engage them to find them so I can focus on strengthening :) Thanks for the video!.
