i dont know why everyone is going crazy in the comments, but let's put some things into perspective: first off, the R32 generation PRODUCED THE MOST GTR's OF ANY OTHER GENERATION GTR. sorry, but an R32 GTR just isn't that special.. i dont care if you have one - THEY MADE A LOT. now that that's out of the way, the R32 4dr is actually the rarer version of the generation and a GTS-4 4dr is actually the rarest R32 variant (other than an N1, Vspec1 or Vspec2). so we're starting off with a rare configuration already, THEN you add to it by swapping in an R34 GTR (which is the lowest production number GTR generation) engine/drivetrain - which are basically $20k+ now (IF YOU CAN EVEN FIND an R34 GTR ENGINE and 6spd separated from the car) and everybody is questioning the price? REALLY? i think everybody needs to be reminded that these are 30yr old cars and finding a clean one with a rare motor and tranny swap aren't going to be easy to come by - in Japan or the states.. WHAT'S OUT THERE IS OUT THERE, NISSAN AINT MAKING ANYMORE. this is an extremely unique build! ya'll are so R32 GTR crazy that you're not even realizing it's actually the dime-a-dozen spec of the generation compared to any R32 4dr variant. since the Aussies and myself dont know what we're talking about and all the R32 GTR owners will be mad, please proceed to the GTR registry and tell me how many R32 GTRs were produced vs the R32 GTS-4 4dr.. go ahead, i'll wait
It's also got the coupe tail light conversion since the 32 4 Door tail lights and rear panel are different. I also have to point out additionally that below the Hazard switch at 3:21 you'll notice its blank for the radio since it's a gts-t/gts4 which is also the same on an N1 believe it or not!
GTS4s came fully loaded (hence why there’s no Type Ms in GTS4) and occupied the price point literally halfway between a GTSt Type M and a GTR. It wouldn’t have come with a radio switch blank. The owner’s gone out of his way to make this conversion shmick - like OCD attention to detail. Also notice the Japanese owner has changed the bottom of the cluster surround to include the clock from a GTR. GTSt’s and GTS4’s all had two switches or blanks where the switches go and the clock sat in the tacho. Most people who do the conversion forget that bit and forego the clock in the cluster surround. So much attention to detail in the conversion! I was wondering if this was an Autech GTS4, but the colour code is different and the bumpers don’t have the logo in them.
@@buildcodedrive Thank you for this information. Also yeah not sure if it was an Autech Version "JK0 Yellowish Green Metallic" GTS-4. MAYBE but I doubt it.
I have a GTS-4 with controls in that area. It was an option named "Electronic Active Sound System", and only series 1 GTS models had the option. (for HNR32 it was vin codes 000051 to 037104)
The other thing the GTS4 came with is 4.33 diffs front and rear. Does that still have the 4.33? I had aN R32 GTS4 with FULL GTR swap underneath, including fuel tank. It initally had a 2530 wth efr 8374 but thanks to a specific brisbane workshop that had a yellow r34, the engine got destroyed from them tuning it. In went the GTR gear from my race car and it had 650awhp. I wish i still had it to bring down and show you, but unfortunately 4 years ago, lifes financial challenges took over and i had to part it out. Theres a lot of miss information about these cars, so its easy to get a bum steer on what the came with. Had mine for 10 years and even with the AWD Rb20, at 230awkw, it was anything but a slouch, and would certainly pull away from 99% of other cars through the hinterlands of SEQ. Generally the only things that keep with it where STI's EVO's and GTiR's with similar power. Miss the car heaps. Always wanted the R33 GTR 4 door too❤.
Wow im liking that.Theres 1 or 2 of these in the uk☺i use to have a R32 4 door 93 RB25na used it for drifting for 10years😊in the 10years of drifting it done a fan belt and a water pump😅never missed a beat.as always top content mr h☺
Nice move, will watch this segment for sure, I hope it will outgrow CarFromJapan and expand to other aussie build reviews with regular owners' cars, like they do on Haltech channel.
I have a 1990R32 GTS4/GTR sedan wide body with 54k miles. It has a full stock GTR interior, knee bolsters, pedals, steering wheel, seats and door panels. R33 RB26dett and vspec, R34 aluminum lower front suspension. Nissan stereo CD/MD with CD changer in trunk, Nissan keyless, Nismo 260km gauge cluster, rear suspension. Andrews Racing Veilside 18x9 3 piece rims with center caps and all bolts. Everything works!
Rebuilt stock turbos, flywheel, new clutch, seals, gaskets, lines, engine harness, adjustable coil overs, full titanium exhaust, equal length down pipes. Car has never been wrecked and no rust, paint is 25yrs old done during second owners conversion and rates 80-85%. Rear lights and bumper remain GTS4 but that’s fine by me. Also have 3of 4 Reebok floor mats from NIssan
i'll 1-up you: i have a 1990 R32 GTS-4 sedan with an N1 swap.. YUP, N1 aluminum hood + fenders, bumper with intercooler cut-outs, N1 headlights and even the N1 brake master, which deletes the ABS. they only made 265 R32 N1s.. so probably the only GTS-4 sedan like it. it is fully swapped with an RB25 block out of a Stagea, because this block allows for the 4wd sump. it is running an R33 GTR crank, as to not deal with the R32 GTR snout issue. the rest is all RB26 with ALL tomei internals: rods, pistons, cams, cam gears.. im assuming it has the N1 oil pump since they apparently had an N1 to pick from. ALL Greddy bolt-ons from the period: T78 33d kit, fuel rail, oil cooler, filter relocation, rad overflow, drive pulleys.. SARD 720cc. even the battery relocated to the trunk! everything is being run by a MoTec M4 stand alone, which when i contacted MoTec with the serial numbers, dates this build to circa 1995! it's a time capsule.. it is also 1 of 266 in KH6 (pearl white) and came with BBS LM GTs.. KEI OFFICE suspension, old school NISMO braces fr+rear, GTR knuckles and brakes little things like Robson leather shift + brake boots with red stitching.. KARO checkered floor mats, full Greddy gauges mounted (tastefully) on dash (fuel pressure, oil pressure, oil temp, water temp, AFR and boost), 320km cluster somebody in Japan really wanted a rare 4dr GTR and put in all the work.. not a single corner cut, not even the OE wiring harness is cut (it was just zip tied to the side where needed) i forgot to mention it only has 13,000 km (2000 of which i put on) and this is reflected on the title and import paperwork.. it's perfect so im thinking it's worth $73k lol
4 doors still a 4 door no matter what’s in it let alone a 4 door that in the current crashing market where a genuine 32 GTR is struggling to sell for 70. A home made wonky ass end is never going to help, Joe will die with that thing. Be careful thrashing around Smeaton, highways everywhere during the day
The first drawn concept sketches for a 32 was for sedans. The coupes came after (and the GTR was an afterthought in the design sense). The sedans are the OGs
One of my workmates back in 2001-2002 basically did this exact build, he slow pieced together all the GTR parts and fitted them to his four door.
Early 2000s were the golden era

Kinda strange he didn't mention that
@@raydm4015 yeah and thats why at the back the boot doesn't line up properly because its the sedan boot

They want $73,000 for that r32 sedan and I Sold my bog stock 33 gts4 3 years ago for $6400 😭😭
Spewin
Bit of a difference between the two
Not the same league, sorry bud.
@wrx2hot4u hahahaha got him
Man that’s a Heartbreaker!!! It’s crazy how Utube has caused the market to go up on these cars! At least in my opinion!
Love it. Boom. Always liked the GTS-4. Killer 4wd Attesa 180 kw Stock. O had a '92 R32 GTS25 Manual in 1997. Same mode!

r33 gtr 4 door would have been a nice addition too this clip!
So what's the name of the song at the start of the vid, it's in the teardown video of the s14, it's cool, shazam can't find it
does anyone know why the CAS is the r32/33 style instead of the (black) neo style CAS? I thought all r34's had the black updated CAS
Correct, this is a 32 or 33 motor. (or head to be specific)
There is no "J" in Getrag, you daft Aussie... 😄

Thanks man🥰♥️
Great video big fella, more like this pls… I want a GTs4 now
Loved the coupe taillight conversion when I was 15 doesnt sit right when your 33 😂
Feel like this combo should have been more popular than it was.
What’s a Jetrag?
Getrag R34 GTR 6 Speed Gearbox.
I came here to post the exact same comment, but you beat me to it 😂😂😂😂
@@OG_BNR yeah, I got that. My question was more around why it was being called a jetrag and not a getrag.
Lol think Andrew is applying the giraffe/gif school of pronunciation to Getrag
89.gtst..,active aero, spats.factory manual in BABY Blue...only other 2 cars same color..we're gtst4.. find one of Them...
Beautiful thing, just so nice, but at a price...
It is an excellent thing ❤
so was this a sunroof model based on the inside shots?
Yeah it’s got a sunroof
5 speed better for street..nothing nice about always changing gears. 5 speed/gts4 diff gears is the sweet spot
We really don't agree. Having 5th as 1:1 is perfect for RB26
That IS cool
Yeaaaaaahh hawko
Yeah that's cool but 32 sedans still look 🤮
you say that as if a r34 sedan is any better lol
The first drawn concept sketches for a 32 was for sedans. The coupes came after (and the GTR was an afterthought in the design sense). The sedans are the OGs
R32 sedans look great imo. R33 and R34 sedans don't... especially R33s lol.
You are a very good RUclipsr, can I get a comment heart?❤
4.3 diff gears in the 5 speed and you're sweet.
