Thank you so much for this review! I feel like quite often it is really hard to make a decision for speakers, headphones etc. but you put it into great detail and this really helped. Also one question; is the rgb controllable?

If you have the room for it on your desk, don't care about rgb that much, and an extra $20, get the Edefier r1280db instead. They have significantly better sound quality.
Thanks for the review bud...glad you mentioned and showed the audio feedback in regard to bluetooth input, on, off....etc....I've been going back and forth between these and the Logitech 2.1 system with RGB...

Ik that edifier is a good brand for speakers I always c there speakers in other people’s setups and they always say that there is nothing as clean looking with the amazing sound they give

I bought some 100 dollar edifier powered speakers for my father's TV, returned them immediately they sounded pretty crap. Replaced with fluance ai40s, huge difference. I did buy these though and am going to give them a shot.

The speakers do sound great. There is an issue when using the USB connection on Mac OS Catalina where when I'm trying to adjust the volume through the keyboard, nothing will happen, then after a minute, the Mac volume knob will appear on the screen as is normal and all will be normal again, although sometimes during this minute the volume will go into some weird lockup mode where it does a stuttering thing, then it just magically goes away. Happens about once every 4-8 hours. Very annoying. I have since elected to just use BlueTooth at the expensive of some sound quality, but at least they're not locking up and I have to reach for them to unplug them (or wait the minute for them to respond again). Not sure if this is a Mac OS Catalina thing or an Edifier G2000 USB thing... Still researching...

It is important to update the firmware... it seems that it is outdated from the factory and the update solves it
So the lights are always on.. Even when i shut off my ps4
You can hold the bottom button to change the light colour till it's off. There are 12 colour settings

Hello! I am interested to buy the speakers and i want to ask a question about the Bluetooth connectivity. I recently had a trouble with a cheap Bluetooth speaker i had bought. While it worked ok, after i paused a song for example it makes a beep sound and after that it makes a weird popping noise for 3-4 seconds and then it stops. It is like that with all Bluetooth devices i have tested with it. I have looked about that and it looks like it is a by-product of cheap, low quality communication components in the speaker. It is very annoying and i want to buy another speakers. The Edifier G2000 looks cool but i have to ask to make sure. Will i have a problem like that with them? Also is the connection stable? Thanks in advance.
there is 4 second delay of sound after an idle time.. is this normal?.. everytime I play a different video or music.. there is 2 or 3 second delay of sound coming out

I experience delay in audio when game/music sounds go completely silent. It always take about 1 or 2 seconds for the sound to come back out after complete silence
Don't listen to "audiophiles" they know nothing. G2000 is a really decent speakers not regarding its price.

Best computer speakers I've ever heard are a 2.1 system by harmon kardon sold thru Dell back 17 years ago and my dad still has them u can find them online for like $10. About the size of my fist and they sound better then any bose I've ever heard and sound as good if not better then 2 to $300 klipsch with a subwoofer. They are amazing and even have great imaging
