    Thank you for this excellent video. As a point of clarification for the slide around time 16:55, creatinine is filtered by the glomerulus and also secreted by the renal tubules. This is why creatinine is not the gold standard for measuring/estimating kidney function. That would be inulin, which is filtered by the glomerulus, but neither secreted nor reabsorbed by the renal tubules.

      Yes you are correct. But as inulin is not endogenous product creatinine is more preferred as compared to inulin

    We did this test but without using blank solution, only test and sample and they gave us homework on why we don’t use blank in some tests ?? Can you plz answer that 🙏🏻

      Dopamine, furosemide and bilirubin etc causes negative interferences

      Take blank standard and test in three different test tubes....Set the filter at particular wavelength require for that particular test... Set the OD zero in the colorimeter with distill water and dn take the OD of blank standard and test.

    what is the molar concentration of H2SO4? If we need to make PFF, what is the rmp of centrifuge and how long we should centrifuge?

      1. H2SO4 - 2/3 M
      2. In a centrifuge tube take 3 ml of DW, 1ml of serum 1 ml of sodium tugstate and 1 ml of H2SO4. Mix after each addition and centrifuge. Use the supernant as PFF. Speed should be optimum.

      Sir, when you add 1ml DW + 1ml serum + 1ml sodium tungastate + 1ml H2so4 to make PFF, only 4ml is available but 5ml is used in the test chart. Please explain

      @@indianvibes1329 It might contain one ml of working solution dts why. Please check your journal carefully. It might have written in it. In my setup we use ready to use reagents.
