Best biochemistry lecture on youtube ❤❤
Glad to hear that
Sir , u r the best on whole tube
Please upload more and more videos of biochemistry for theory and practical of mbbs
Thanks a lot dear 😇👍🙏.
Thank you for this excellent video. As a point of clarification for the slide around time 16:55, creatinine is filtered by the glomerulus and also secreted by the renal tubules. This is why creatinine is not the gold standard for measuring/estimating kidney function. That would be inulin, which is filtered by the glomerulus, but neither secreted nor reabsorbed by the renal tubules.
Yes you are correct. But as inulin is not endogenous product creatinine is more preferred as compared to inulin
Love u sir❤. You are my practical teacher during this lockdown.

Sir sreum Creatine normal blood test aur jaffe method may kya difference hai plz explain????
Really very informative n useful...👌
Sir what will be the source of NADH and ATP during the enzymatic method..either its from in vivo or it will be added artificially..
It will be from the sample only.
We did this test but without using blank solution, only test and sample and they gave us homework on why we don’t use blank in some tests ?? Can you plz answer that 🙏🏻
Sar calculation mein blank samajh mein nahin aaya hai balance to jyada a raha hai to calculation kaise karenge blank to zero aana chahie
Thank you so much the video was very helpful

Thank you sir 🥰
Pls make video on estimation of urinary creatinine
Sure. Will do
Hello Sir, can you recommend me some literature about this old methods? It is very interesting, and this are very important basics. Today they use automates that do many thing behind the scenes

@@Biochemistrybasics Interesting, but i thought name of some old book that has many methods. This is great, but for glucose. What about, for example some hormones etc.?
Can you tell positive and negative interference [separately] that affect jaffes alkaline picrate method?
Dopamine, furosemide and bilirubin etc causes negative interferences
Cephalosporin, hemoglobin, glucose, lipemia and acetohexamide are positive interferences

sir one question, why u have written presence of protein in jaffe's limitation, aren't we using protein free filtrate????
Dts about presence of other protein in sample which interfere during estimation

Enzymatic method

Sir pls say how to calculate Absorbance for blank, standard and test.
Take blank standard and test in three different test tubes....Set the filter at particular wavelength require for that particular test... Set the OD zero in the colorimeter with distill water and dn take the OD of blank standard and test.
Can you suggest an end point method for creatinine without deproteinisation?
You can use Enzymatic method but it's not an endpoint
what is the molar concentration of H2SO4? If we need to make PFF, what is the rmp of centrifuge and how long we should centrifuge?
1. H2SO4 - 2/3 M
2. In a centrifuge tube take 3 ml of DW, 1ml of serum 1 ml of sodium tugstate and 1 ml of H2SO4. Mix after each addition and centrifuge. Use the supernant as PFF. Speed should be optimum.
That's gold
Yes. Thanks
Sir a problem
When we make pff total amount of solution 4ml but in chart 5ml
How is this please help
My viva is tomorrow
Sorry can you please elaborate more
Sir, when you add 1ml DW + 1ml serum + 1ml sodium tungastate + 1ml H2so4 to make PFF, only 4ml is available but 5ml is used in the test chart. Please explain
@@indianvibes1329 It might contain one ml of working solution dts why. Please check your journal carefully. It might have written in it. In my setup we use ready to use reagents.

What is the use of sod tungstate?
The storage form of creatine is creatine phosphate. True/False
It's stored in muscle as free creatine or phospo Creatine

What values should we get for test, blank and std normally
It depends on the concentration and method
why we use 2/3N h2so4 and 10%sodium tungstate in this method ?
