Ill keep using my DSLR with a wide lens and nvidia broadcast and the auto frame effect. Works surprisingly well and lets me keep using the hardware i already own. Perhaps something you should try as well, have not noticed any lag at all so far and it looks great.
For people who do not already own a DSLR and dont mind paying the amount this camera costs it seem like a pretty nice option.

Oh, and I suspect the lag is down to the H.264 video compression. That format basically can't handle that much data smoothly. Then again, I'm not a Video Engineer, so I could be way off base.

i guess it depends on whether you NEEED a tracking camera and your budget. Me personally im gonna keep my dlsr camera for the much higher quality and the fact im fine being stationary. If money is no issue, you can build a dslr camera with a gimbal using a lidar sensor. of course thats gonna be expensive and take up much bigger footprint , but for those that want upmost quality thats what i would do.

It is great when it works. I bought three, one worked, one went dead after 1 hour of use and the last one gimbal went beserk and couldn't be recovered. I have to ship it back to HongKong!!
So, no option for a hard wired energy source? Other than that this looks to be a solid device
Just a heads up guys, It's got its own thing going with multi conection options for HDMI, USB-C, Ethernet connection and also NDI. and it's more about a PTZ camera as i check obs bot website, and find out some Tail Air user solutions are similar to the Birddog PTZ Camera.
I built my dream gaming pc, but Steam removed our country's money, now I can't play games, and it makes me sad for no reason to see such videos.

Your talking about streaming and stuff but on what platform do you stream? I looked on twitch but it says that you didn’t stream for like 3 years, so are the streams hidden or something or do you stream on a other platform?

Extra cost for NDI? even with a 500 pricetag? Is that feature advertised? If it is already connected on WiFi.. there must be another way to connect to it without the NDI feature. And which version of WiFi does the device support.. not being able to stream HD at 60... ouch again at that pricetag...
As for the SD card issue.. that is confusing, with that pricetag, didn't they test? It seems they went for looks over function :(
Just buy a wider angle lens/put the camera a bit further away and then just crop into frame?

How do you set up the bottom monitor and top monitor? What brackets?
Hmm Good review but IMO Tail Air is in a league of its own with features like HDMI and Ethernet connection, also the NDI supports. It is more about a PTZ camera like PTZ Optics. It's not really the same thing as DJI OSMO pocket 3 or Insta360 Link.

Every time I see your setup I think only if I had that its too perfect but sadly I don't even have a desktop pc any more and it's mad old I run off a i3 laptop that getting old and really need an upgrade
The Tail Air is a great camera, but in no way does it compare to the image quality of your a6600. It does a lot, but with it not having optical zoom, it limits how you can use it without a lot of artifacts when zoomed.
I agree with a lot of others, 500 is way too high. For a fancy Webcam? 200 max is what I would be willing to pay and even that's if I had plenty of money and wanted that feature desperately. Otherwise you can get awesome webcams for wayyyyy less. The ai following you I get for very large creators I guess if they would need a cameraman otherwise but to me ot just feels like a gimmick. Plus, if you have Nvidia broadcast (granted it's for Nvidia gpu only) they have the ai features for regular webcams anyway.
Its nice that we have an AI 4k 30fps webcam that can finally stream in 1080p 30fps........ lol

I wish my Dell webcam had mechanical movement. It has AI face capture but the movement isn't as smooth as that.
So what exactly is the Point of using this as a Streaming Camera if the Battery only lasts about 1-2 Hours ?

My PC spec is Ryzen 5 5600, Rx6750xt, Corsair vengeance lpx 8gb 3200mhz, Corsair cv650, 500gb SSD, Asrock B550m steel legend. I watched games benchmark on RUclips video of 1080 all settings, which fsp was provided on RUclips video's benchmark sadly my PC give less than half fps of RUclips benchmark. What is problem in my new PC? Less than half fps really shit!

Hey ed I seen the announcement on discord and came over I haven’t seen that it was out yet but I loved the video and the build is just amazing I really want a pc to start gaming but I’m only 14 and don’t have a job or money to buy a pc and my parents are split and both both very wealthy I game on a ps5 with I think a 60 hz 20 inch monitor and would love for you to make a video of a cheap build and maybe you could send it to me but it’s up to you obviously but I think it would be a good video idea for a $600 budget at micro center but that’s all for me Ed have a great night or day and please think about it it would be huge and I’ve been subscribed for at least a year or 2 now
