Woodturning - A Stunning Resin and Yew Wood Urn

Join me in this captivating woodturning journey as I craft a breathtaking urn using a combination of Aluminite Amazing Clear Cast resin, Eye Candy Pigments, and stabilized Yew wood. The blank, weighing 5kg post-cure, promises a mesmerizing finish. Throughout the process, I incorporate Niles ring inserts and employ Easy Wood Tools' negative rake cutters on my Record Power Coronet Regent wood lathe. Witness the transformation as I meticulously sand the exterior using Klingspor abrasives, followed by Yorkshire Grit and micro fine sanding paste for a flawless surface. Finally, I lavish the piece with 7 coats of Hampshire Sheen Pro Glass Lacquer, bringing out its stunning beauty. Don't miss this enthralling demonstration of craftsmanship and creativity!
