this game is basically a port of the super Mario world of the super Nintendo, but the gba is faithful to the super Nintendo.

It's impressive how Peach is kidnapped on the first minutes of the game.

Beating this game when I was 9 was damn near the best day of my life.

48:09 A great place to take shelter in case of a zombie apocalypse. Zombies can't go to high places, cold weather makes them fall apart, and zombies can't swim. Plus, I can try and grow things around here in peace, Vanilla Dome is like paradise, it's quiet, peaceful, calming, a great shelter in case of a zombie apocalypse, a place for gardening, cute creatures, sparkling caverns, a clean underground spring, a house with cute misunderstood ghosts, it's cool when it's hot out.

First time I played this and I heard his voice when I collected things.
My tiny little kid brain was BLOWN.
Then they allowed me to play with Luigi and that was when I knew that was going to be the best game I played as a child!

I love how Luigi shakes his legs as he jumps, it looks like he has some kind of anxiety and I relate to that on a spiritual level
It’s actually a gameplay mechanic. Luigi flutters his legs to stay in the air longer. He learned this from Yoshi. The downside to playing as Luigi is he skids more along the ground.
I like how the music sounds more in this.

You want to tell me that in the GBA port of Mario World Mario and Luigi could talk AND HAD AN INTRO, but in the SNES version it didn't?
I'm actually amazed of how much they could cram in that small GBA cartridge.

Compared to the snes version..... THIS WAS BETTER on the gba. the gba version was an upgrade complete with an intro, alternative intro, luigi, a picture ending, repeatable castles, upgraded sound effects, 2 (or 3) extra hits, and Mario bro’s as a side option.
They gave the gba version wayyy too much treatment
after 8 years, i finnaly found the game i used to LOVE playing on my ds lite

I used to play this so much as a kid, completed it countless times. Ended up trading it then for a psp game (burnout) and I regret it so much. I'm gonna buy one, I lost my advance years and years ago but still got my sp :)

Robin Hordijk Yes. The color palettes they used for the GBA overall were lighter than previous consoles.
They had to make the colours brighter and contrast higher to compensate for the non-lit screen of the original gba

this was one of the best games of Mario history and shocking and very beautiful it deserves one of the best stories and one of the best games in Asia and North America So this and the best game of the 90

I had Super Advance 3 and grew up playing Super Mario World on a SNES. But dam , this version looks so cheap to me . It’s doesn’t visually please you when compared to the original . For a handheld part though it’s amazing !
