I grew up with Reba & Donny. This is the first time I have the joy of seeing her daughter Destiny! Wow! This is so blessed! Three generations of righteousness! Resurrection power! Just amazing! I'm so happy I'm in the family!!!!!
Even though you can see Dottie visually express love and admiration for daughter and grandchild........you can feel the sincerity and heartfelt love for Jesus in the words and music that was gifted to her through our God and his Son......written by Dottie......She is sitting as I write this in heaven that we have heard about and I can't even fathom what awaits us.....
Oh this just touches my soul!! Dottie has written many songs that are inspired by the Holly Spirit!! She died Mother's day May 11th 2008, my sister died May 12th 2008.

I never knew what this song really meant until one of my sons got messed up on pot, meth and alcohol. OUr son is a prodigal, he stays angry at us all the time. Half the time we don't know if he's dead or alive. The line that say "the things that I love and hold dear in my life are borrowed, they aren't mine at all. Jesus only let us borrow our kids for 18 years. Now they are in Jesus' hands and He has to teach time how to live their lives. It's difficult, but I just claim that Jesus can do what needs to be done in my sons' life. I've got to stay out of the way now

Learning to 'hold on loosely' was very hard...., But God in His unprecedented FAVOR (Grace)...., will help all those seeking Him! "A very present help in time of need."

I only lost my mother and grandmother and both of my daddies, no big losses yet, not like my husband, but I know that it is coming one of these days,and it is going to hurt like nobody's business, and I will not even be expecting it, and that's what hurts the most, but I don't think that my husband can handle losing me, so I am hoping he's the first to go. Because I can handle loss better than he can... I have always loved this song, even before I knew who it was by. That just makes me appreciate it even better. Donnie and Reba used to come to Tulsa to a church I went to I think Destiny was about 6 years old the last time I seen them, she is so beautiful and sings as beautiful as her Mom and grandmother.

If anyone thinks "when you die that's it" ?! After 9-11, in the back of the ambulance, I flatlined twice. As my spirit lingered out of body, above, the paramedics trying to "save" me...........I know now God let me live so I could really be "saved". Thank you Jesus!! And my son escaped the North Tower, 77th floor, whoever may read this.."God Bless You" and I pray for the world daily, it's almost over....please rationalize the bigger picture and know we aren't here that long.
