      I wasn't though my parents were. We have two posters from this campaign. The Man on the Moon is on my wall, Alfred Hitchcock is in our attic.

      Yes, at a time when commercials meant bathroom or kitchen break - people would scream "it's on" & people would run back in to watch the commercial 😂

      @@bcproductionvideos True, those were times when commercials and marketing reached artistic levels. Apple alone transformed marketing and ads into art which stays strong even today. However I have feeling that too much of visual effects and technological leap we see today overshadows what truly matters and has to be there, which is simple idea of temptation for senses usually for eyes & ears.

    This story is not 100% accurate. I was at BBDO working on the team to defend the Apple account. BBDO came up with Think Different, specifically Chris Wall (RIP). We even produced a video very similar to the Jobs narrated version.

    Crazy cycles Apple has been through. The iphone saved the company.

      Wrong, it was Jobs return from Next which brought company back on track and only years after that came iPhone... their iMac was one of the first revolutionary product with redefined "think different" new design and many other products follow after that.

      Oh yeah! I came across that part of the story after I had finished this video. Very interesting choice they made, I think it sounds way better than "think differently" haha

    I think you could change your titles to be a little more simplistic and enthusiastic. For example:
    "How one commercial saved apple from bankruptcy "

    Cool but video, but the think different campaign was definitely not the most influential, the 1984 was.

      I considered it the most influential as the campaign was launched right before they started dominating the tech world, but I also agree that 1984 was just as influential for the macintosh. I actually made a vid about 1984 if ur interested!

    The content is inspiring, but mispronouncing the name of Academy Award/OSCAR winner Richard Dreyfuss immediately pulls this down to questioning if this is an AI created video from Asia. 🤷🏻‍♂️
