I love that gorillas really avoid violence and rarely ever physically attack. Even among themselves. They know the concept of appropriate use of force. They’ll charge and make noise as a first warning. “I don’t want to hurt you, so I’m gonna have to ask you to leave”.
damn so they understand appropriate force better than humans! in some ways I guess we aren't the more evolved ones 😂
@@devonkelly44fun fact their is only 1 confirmed case of a gorilla killing someone (like the 1800s i have to look it up again) apparently it was not pretty
Have you not seen chimp empire or whatever it was called. They are super violent and yeah it’s probably just some tribes unlike this one but there are definitely a lot of groups where they are just like humans and go around doing gang violence and whatnot. But if you mean killing humans, then yeah that’s different but they could if they want.

Haha, yeah bro, they would just tear your body in half without even trying 😂

They are intelligent and social animals and probably just view humans as a different species of ape.
@@None38389 They might yeah. Not sure if they're able to recognize the similarities between us and them or not. Would be cool if they do though
Just make sure you don’t try and act like you’re superior and you should be fine. If you do something that makes you seem like a challenger, good fuckin luck 😂

As long as they don't see you as a threat, it's not a problem. They're not aggressive unless they think you're a problem. Lay low, and don't look into their eyes, and your chances of survival are higher.

Yea, an adult silverback gorilla can easily defeat the world’s strongest man.
Quite simply - the gorillas tolerated the humans in their presence. Or rather, they figured they weren’t a threat so they don’t want to expend energy fighting.

The photographer was smart. He was in the correct position, called “Shicho Pose.” Basically, you squat down as if you’re sitting on an invisible chair. This does nothing to ensure your safety from the gorilla, it merely acts as a comfortable position to Shicho pants when things like this happen.
