What I really noticed is when he was saying that things take a bit more effort with sisters who have down syndrome then with those who don't, he didn't say 'if they were normal' or something like that. He paused and thought how to word it and then said "if I had sisters with not down syndrome" even though normal was probably an easier word to think of he didn't use it and I thought that was pretty beautiful.
Right?! He's wise beyond his years! He reminds me of Benjamin Button cuz he's like a genius grown man in an adorable little boy's body 💕💕 The mummy & duddy should be so proud
He's had to grow up a little quicker than usual, but the fact that he's grown up quick and doesn't resent his sister's for it is amazing and a testament to the parents

If you guys wonder why the doctoer said sorry, then you can imagine how would you react if he came to you and said in cheerful loud voice "Hey Anne! Your twins have mental disability!!" and gave u handshake with grin on his face
People (aw well as animals) with down syndrome are better than usual people. They are sweet, kind, and fun. My cousin has Down syndrome and he's the family's favorite person. He's 30 now and he works, gives us phone calls and texts us, is a great photographer as well and never a mean person, but speaks the truth, no matter how brutal. We're thankful for having him.
I love these stories, this one is twice as delightful, when I was a kid these precious kids were hidden from the public, denied school and neglected, I’m happy that we now treat them as they deserve, they are so loveable
raya avenger god bless your kind soul! I am a special education teacher! I do respite care with people with autism. I have worked with people with down syndrome. Good for you! you will achieve your goal! The world needs people like you.
BLESSINGS TO ALL SPECIAL ED TEACHERS!!!! 🙏🙌 In fact, BLESSINGS to ALL TEACHERS! 🙏🙌My Dad was & both daughters are teachers. I absolutely LOVED 💖my son's 1st SN teacher. He had her for 2yrs & helped him learn things that I tried to teach him. She was GREAT! Unfortunately, she ended up going in to nursing b/c they really don't pay teachers enough around here. I wonder how she's doing now. 🤔
I was diagnosed with autism when I was ate second grade and I didn't get the help I needed and it makes me so happy that they cared enough to check if they have downsindrome or autism.
Emma Eire I completely agree. I'm expecting a daughter with downs and although I'm still just as excited for her to arrive, it's terrifying to think of the different challenges she might meet that her brother without has experienced. It's just like having a child who's gay in my eyes; the love doesn't change in the slightest but I'd fear for the challenges and cruelty that they may come across. Either way, being a parent is completely terrifying.... Trying to make sure they're safe but learning, trying to keep them from certain pains but knowing it's guaranteed.
Wink Blue I see your point, don't agree, but now I understand you are concerned. I mentioned abortion, because I am not a fanatic. Anyway there are plenty of solutions she can choose from, and hopefully she won't regret her decision(I have an adult with Down syndrome in my family). But almost 100% sure that her other children will have to take care of this child after she passes away, which makes her decision slightly selfish.
The doctor said sorry because he most likely does not know the beauty of raising a child with a disability. Yes, there is sorrow but, there is beauty in it too. People are the way they are meant to be and God sends people on missions in life that only they can do. Those twins are perfect they way they are and if the doctor was only looking at things from a medical standpoint then I feel more sorry for him than the twins.
No, they don't always smile. Once they realize they're different from other kids or teenagers, they can become very frustrated, depressed and aggressive. They see that they can't do the same things in school, can't get their driver licenses and can't have children, but can't understand, why. That's a devastating feeling. Hence, they are definitely not always happy and smiling and loving.
Oh my goodness! Two darlings! What a blessing they have each other to go through life with. Their brother is darling too. You just want to hug all three.
I learned something on this show, they have an extra cromozone and that’s why they give extra smiles and love to everyone, thanks for sharing, they are beautiful
I knew a guy who was an assistant supermarket manager who had/has (he's still amongst us i think) down syndrome to a light degree,...he operated his job as assistant manager effectively and efficiently, he even had a drivers license and a car and lived independently in his own house he bought.⬅(although his parents had to guarantee the mortgage, even the Supermarket chain helped him out as support in that) We've got a restaurant were i live operated by people with the syndrome to various degree's, with some supervision they run that place great and turn a good profit. They operate the kitchen, set the menu, the supply chain, the service staff,....even the bookkeeping and the supply gardens (yep, fresh veggies and herbs) mostly themselves, it's great to see that. So, for people to just write them off as "not useful" or "not capable of anything much" is severly ignorant based on the severe lack of knowledge and interest on the subject and in some case's on the lack of empathy. Great mini doc 👍.
Obviously it depends so much on the severity of symptoms how much a person with DS. But I don't even see that as a super important criteria. If they can't do anything? What does that mean? They're useless and might as well be dead? I realise you didn't say that but some people might, so I wouldn't focus on the usefulness alone... even if those girls do nothing productive ever, and they probably will, they're still adorable lovely worthy humans.
When my mom was pregnant with my youngest brother, she was 43 and there was a 1 in 50, or 2 percent, chance that he would have had Down syndrome. But at her amniocentesis at 16 weeks, she and my dad discovered that he was in the other 98 percent! She has always said that even if there had been something wrong, she still would have continued the pregnancy. Now Matthew is 21 years old, 6 foot 1, and in his third year of university, studying in France this year.
Matt was also born at 29 weeks 4 days after the placenta started slowly detaching; my mom was in labour for 30 hours from the time her water started leaking at around 8:30 AM on January 19th until he was born by C-section on Saturday, January 20th, 1996 at 2:42 PM EST weighing 1621 grams or 3 pounds 9 ounces; considered LGA, probably because Mom took such good care of herself during the pregnancy; she didn't drink, took her prenatal vitamins, stayed away from my grandparents when they were smoking, etc.
Often people with down syndrome do sound a bit different when they speak because the shape of their mouth and nose is a little different to normal. A speech therapist would be able to help, or at least give more information. Overweight is not unusual, she might not be eating well or finds it hard to be motivated to be active. I could find some websites with more information if you'd like.

My daughter has down syndrome n doctors had me so scared to keep the pregnancy. I never even considered terminating my pregnancy, yet they continue to go on and on about how many issues she would have with breathing and her heart. The beginning was hard for her constant ER visits. Now she is doing very well because I stopped listening to the doctors n started to research help on my own. Since than she hasn't used a breathing machine for over 2 years. She made me love mornings I use to be very grumpy in the morning. She woke up and still wakes up with a smile every morning. It's touched me when the mother said I wouldn't change her for anything. Because that's what I think everyday of my life. She loves everyone. I feel blessed to be her mother. She makes me better.
My six year old sister has Down syndrome and she had and still has heart and eye problems but she is flying it now and every Christmas morning she runs into my room and yells at me to tell me it's Christmas and she pulls me down the stairs then she look at the presents and runs back to get my mum, dad, dog and brother I am so proud of her Love Sophie's big sister Abbie
I ain't crying or fcuking sobbing thats just the freaking bloody onions.. And the Parry twin girls with Downs Syndrome are unbleviablely precious unbleviablely gorgeous unbleviablely well-loved unbleviablely adorable.. Hope the entire Parry family off five currently from Chorley Lancashire England UK is doing well and okey during this sodding bloody Covid19 crisis..
And God himself made Abigail And Isobel Parry both twin girls born with Downs Syndrome 100% perfect with hand crafted loving care outrageously and gifted them to a loving family and obviously close although he didn't hand deliver personally...
The brother is amazing and I wish him the best of everything in life.❤️ He's amazing, simply godsent and I hope they realise this and give him just as much love, affection and attention as they give to the twins.
I have a 10 y.o little cousin who lives in Colorado and Everytime I see him, I feel like crying because he’s so adorable! He is normal in any kind of way and he is amazing to me! ❤️
Hi Sophie, Well said 👏 it really is a beautiful documentary. I’ve recently released a Mini Documentary on Down Syndrome. If you would like to watch it, You can find the Documentary on my Channel or search on RUclips for Nicola and Jessica | Living With Down Syndrome If you end up watching one, I would love to hear your feedback ☺️♥️ Wishing you a lovely Monday, Steph
This family is so Wonderful! The twins are so cute & their brother really loves them. Even if they do wake him up at 5am. People with DS are some of the sweetest people on Earth. I was in nursing school, assigned to the nursery. A Beautiful, red-headed baby girl was brought in, with the suspicion of DS. The parents were very young & had no known family history, so there weren't any tests done. After conformation from a physician exam, it was determined that the child indeed had DS. The parents did say that she looked like an Uncle, so family history was possible. I remembered thinking to myself that if for some reason the parents wouldn't want her, that I would take her. Luckily, that wasn't an issue. I believe that she's about 24yo by now. I wonder how she's doing.
Emily King I strongly disagree. Twins may look alike, but they each have their own personalities. Dressing them alike takes away a part of their individualities.
I have a twin brother and STRONGLY disagree with you. It makes people refer to you as "the twins", and people always compare you up against each other in every way. Which is very annoying.
Blown away with their brother. What an incredible soul. He was definitely born to be their big brother. And I don’t know if anyone else picked up on this, but watch from 1:16 and listen to the way he talks about his sisters 🥹 He says “Down Syndrome means I have to help my sisters a bit more than if I had sisters without Down Syndrome” He could have easily just said “Down Syndrome means I have to help my sisters a bit more than if I had sisters who were normal”. He is mature beyond his years! He will change the world one day, and so will his sisters!
What a lovely and sweet family. My nephew has Down syndrome and he's 32 years old. He is hysterically funny and as sweet as can be. The world needs more people with Down Syndrome, not fewer. They are much nicer than 'normal' people and they are incapable of lying or being something that they're not. They have much to teach the world!
@@myman8336 It is a common genetic mutation. Do you suggest that we murder all children adults and their parents and siblings? It is genetic and you are a terrible person.
My cousin has down syndrome any she is the happiest girl alive and I just want to say those twins are beautiful I hope they live a long healthy and happy life
I've never heard of twins with downs syndrome and my partners niece has it aswell so I do click on things concerning downs etc. She is older now 21 but she is more like 10/12years old in her personality and likes and dislikes etc and her awareness for safety etc. Certain things like humour she is very quick and witty but other things she can be quite vulnerable etc and she is so innocent and such a sweetheart ❤️ These girls are absolutely beautiful and amazing and very clever and there brother is such a sweetheart too. Great kids. Great family ❤️😘
I'm sorry but the mother is making too much of a big deal over the doctor saying sorry, when they have to say your child has any condition they'll say sorry because it's an awkward job to do
Blurryface's Best Fren he shouldn’t have said sorry because it’s negative, and as a doctor he should know how to properly act in these situations. There are plenty of ways to say your baby has down syndrome without being sorry
They are innocent children. He was just bouncing his little sister. He doesnt have the perverted and sick mind of some of the people in these comments.
I was only 23 when I had my child with DS. While it can be hard, it's 100% worth everything and more. I would do it all over again in a heartbeat, and would adopt another child with DS given the chance. Our child has taught us more about love and life than anything or anyone else ever could. She is beyond a blessing to all that know her. If more people were like those with DS we would have no evil. Angels on earth.
Grape Kool-aid why!? you are so mean and horrid. why is she sick, she's supporting the family and telling people that DS kids aren't just not as clever as others.
delaina910 Not to be mean or rude or anything else. If there were a lot of people with DS we'll be thrown back into the stone age because of lack of productivity.
How are you going to teach her not to procreate herself? How do you guarantee she will be cared for properly if and when something happens to you? It's so selfish to describe someone as a "blessing" when she herself has not been blessed, and won't be able to understand the consequences of her actions. You have a lifelong toddler and acting like a Martyr changes none of that.
There are high functioning and not so high functioning kids with down syndrome. These lovely kids seem to be functioning quite well, however not fair to expect every parent with Down syndrome to have such smooth sailing. I have encountered the other extreme.
I don't think the Dr was trying to be mean by saying sorry. I think it is hard for all doctors to have to tell the parents that their babies have a disorder. I probably wouldn't know to say other than sorry. I'm glad the situation turned around for this family 😀
As parent of an adult daughter with disabilities.. these parents have no clue as to what lies ahead.. yes it's awesome when they are little, but when they are older and finally realize how cruel outsiders can be..or how sad it is that you'll most likely still be living with your parents, while all the kids you went to school with are starting families of their own.. or that you'll never drive...etc. Trust me... you WILL start to 2nd guess decisions you could have made in order to save someone from life that THEY now regret.
Hey I got cerebral palsy but I GRADuated with a HNSD, got my own place and hav friends! However yes the world is very cruel. My Asisstant is leevin after 20 years but she doeesn't intend on seeing me after. Another ccarer accused me of racism nearly taking legal action. So it seems people see see disabled peeps as clients 2 b cared 4, not friends
My adult daughter with Down’s Syndrome would wish she had a twin as she feels lonely living by herself. She would have no desire to be married. The little girls will always have each other for company and will be able to live independently in supported living. Their parents are blessed.
Beautiful girls, God is showing us his true love, these little angels, will only know innocence, love, their parents are lovely, as a grandfather myself, I hug you all ❤️ 🥇
Their big brother seems so patient and well educated and cooperative. It's uplifting :)

Melany Verna - I liked it when he said they're cute and annoying. That is how most brothers feel about little sisters, I'm sure 😊
What I really noticed is when he was saying that things take a bit more effort with sisters who have down syndrome then with those who don't, he didn't say 'if they were normal' or something like that. Allison Nothing is 100% preventable. Downs can and does happen when the mother is young. It is less likely, but it does happen.
Allison Down Syndrome is NOT 100% preventable. Yes, older parents face a higher probability of having a child with it but it can happen to anyone.

My little brother has severe Autism and personally, it would put me through more stress to be a SN teacher.
Just Do It! why?
I was diagnosed with autism when I was ate second grade and I didn't get the help I needed and it makes me so happy that they cared enough to check if they have downsindrome or autism.
The doctor said sorry as if u had the choice you wouldn't choose to have a child with special needs as it makes their life more challenging.
Emma Eire I really can't understand how some people just don't understand that. Perhaps it's just comforting to them.
I absolutely adore this video... I wish I could give it 1000000 likes
What a beautiful family! Double the love with 2 extra special little girls and such a caring big brother!
“My sisters wakes me up at five in the morning” wow that’s when I go to bed lol
Same
Pure love in a child achieves all !
Really?
@@siimplymaanvi7364 yeah sometimes
I would feel privileged to be mother to a child with DS. They just give so much love always smiling
@@itsniko4563 you are a burden to society. It's people like you that make humanity ugly.
adopt one. i am sure there are some out there
@@cindycristobal8738 why?
No, they don't always smile. Once they realize they're different from other kids or teenagers, they can become very frustrated, depressed and aggressive. They see that they can't do the same things in school, can't get their driver licenses and can't have children, but can't understand, why. That's a devastating feeling. Hence, they are definitely not always happy and smiling and loving.
Beautiful video. Beautiful children. They give me a Happy feeling.
Oh my goodness! Two darlings! What a blessing they have each other to go through life with. Their brother is darling too. You just want to hug all three.
I learned something on this show, they have an extra cromozone and that’s why they give extra smiles and love to everyone, thanks for sharing, they are beautiful
They are too precious. Awesome that big brother is so loving towards his sisters.
They look so beautiful. Parents should let them be models..
For real they have great potential
Seriously and they could be great representation for people with Down syndrome
Modelling? Are you kidding? The Modelling world is brutal, horrible.
That is a good family. The little girls are absolute sweethearts and so is their older brother.
Wow this is a sweet family.

Tonald Drump WTF 😂
He was sorry that he was giving a life changing diagnosis. That is literally just appropriate bedside manner.
the only thing that bugs me is that they arent wearing socks with their boots:(
Genesis Torres Why would you wear socks with warm ugg boots? That defeats the purpose of ugg boots! They're lined to insulate your feet.
Laura Williams yes because your feet will sweat and they'll smell
BAHAHAHA SAME!!
Laura Williams it will make your feet and the boots stink .
Their DOWN there somewhere ;)))))
They are sooooooooo adorable

I knew a guy who was an assistant supermarket manager who had/has (he's still amongst us i think) down syndrome to a light degree,...he operated his job as assistant manager effectively and efficiently, he even had a drivers license and a car and lived independently in his own house he bought.⬅(although his parents had to guarantee the mortgage, even the Supermarket chain helped him out as support in that)
We've got a restaurant were i live operated by people with the syndrome to various degree's, with some supervision they run that place great and turn a good profit.
ThatDutchguy thank you !

Down syndrom is unique to individuals, some of them have severe cominucation and metal problems
@@asmaaraess9911 just like other people I guess?
@@asmaaraess9911 yes and most need care for the rest of their lives.
Sarah Edwards I'm so happy that you're brother is doing well. I know that you & your family & friends must be very proud of him!
43 and pregnant, having babies at a old age brings a lot of high risk but is nice to see how far your brother education is going

Alicia Haley lol nice aic quote right here.
These two are soooo pretty and adorable
My six year old sister has Down syndrome and she had and still has heart and eye problems but she is flying it now and every Christmas morning she runs into my room and yells at me to tell me it's Christmas and she pulls me down the stairs then she look at the presents and runs back to get my mum, dad, dog and brother I am so proud of her

The brother is amazing and I wish him the best of everything in life.❤️ He's amazing, simply godsent and I hope they realise this and give him just as much love, affection and attention as they give to the twins.

My heart ❤ these twins are so precious. Made me shed a tear .
Nicole Evans I know, they're adorable!
Oh what precious little girls they are! Well done to the whole family! I wish them every happiness.❤
My brother has Down Syndrome & is 20 years old; I've rarely seen him upset...to know him his to know pure joy! I love him so much
This family is so Wonderful!
I absolutely love when parents dress twins in matching outfits. They are so adorable in their identical wardrobes.
And I don’t know if anyone else picked up on this, but watch from 1:16 and listen to the way he talks about his sisters 🥹
He says “Down Syndrome means I have to help my sisters a bit more than if I had sisters without Down Syndrome”
He could have easily just said “Down Syndrome means I have to help my sisters a bit more than if I had sisters who were normal”.
He is mature beyond his years! He will change the world one day, and so will his sisters!
The fact it's girls makes it even rarer
What a lovely and sweet family. My nephew has Down syndrome and he's 32 years old. He is hysterically funny and as sweet as can be. The world needs more people with Down Syndrome, not fewer. They are much nicer than 'normal' people and they are incapable of lying or being something that they're not. They have much to teach the world!
Mary Smith agreed
Mary Smith you think that we need more People with ds one girl with ds pushed me
Mary Smith i'm telling truth
That's is dumbest suggestion I've ever heard in my life.. 🤔
Down syndrome is a disease that must be eradicated like many other diseases..
@@myman8336 It is a common genetic mutation. Do you suggest that we murder all children adults and their parents and siblings? It is genetic and you are a terrible person.
He said sorry because its sad news, there are alot of health implications....that said down syndrom people are amazing!
These beautiful girls are PERFECT just the way they are❤
My cousin has down syndrome any she is the happiest girl alive and I just want to say those twins are beautiful I hope they live a long healthy and happy life
I had a cousin with downs and he lived until he was 40 years old. He did things that no one ever expected. It's very special you have downs twins x
the brother will grow up into a great man. i really hope so
Such a beautiful family, those parents are truly blessed to have 3 great kids. 💝
Why are British children so mature at young ages. This little guy sounds like a grown man. So well spoken.
Downsindrom people are the most beautiful people they are so loving
Heather Robertson ummm no? Their deformed humans with a serious physical/mental problem.....
Like a most precious gem divided in half.
I've never heard of twins with downs syndrome and my partners niece has it aswell so I do click on things concerning downs etc. She is older now 21 but she is more like 10/12years old in her personality and likes and dislikes etc and her awareness for safety etc. Certain things like humour she is very quick and witty but other things she can be quite vulnerable etc and she is so innocent and such a sweetheart ❤️
These girls are absolutely beautiful and amazing and very clever and there brother is such a sweetheart too. Great kids. Great family ❤️😘
What beautiful children you have. The girls are adorable!
Oi mate what you doin 4:52
Joe Grandpapi "mhmmm downies my favourite"
Lmao, that made me uncomfortable for some reason.
I thought I was the only one that saw that 😂

The best part is they have each other. Beauty is where you find it and they are beautiful
4:52 i cant hold the laugh 😂😂😂
They’re so cute God bless them 🍬🍭💕
What a beautiful family! Isobel & Abigail are precious, like I just wanna hug them.
I'm sorry but the mother is making too much of a big deal over the doctor saying sorry, when they have to say your child has any condition they'll say sorry because it's an awkward job to do
Blurryface's Best Fren true
Blurryface's Best Fren What did she want him to say? Not sorry it’ll be fine. But I understand why it might have upset her and I respect that.
Why would someone be sorry that two beautiful and healthy babies are born with down syndrome? It should be looked at as an extra gift, not a problem.
Stay alive fren |-/
Blurryface's Best Fren he shouldn’t have said sorry because it’s negative, and as a doctor he should know how to properly act in these situations. There are plenty of ways to say your baby has down syndrome without being sorry
Omg all the 4:52 comments, he was just trying to help her up...

Beautiful girls! And I love their backyard!
These lil'sisters are incredibly pretty! Amazing life ! Bless them and their family
Banana Bunny sick as cool not in a mean way
How are you going to teach her not to procreate herself? How do you guarantee she will be cared for properly if and when something happens to you? It's so selfish to describe someone as a "blessing" when she herself has not been blessed, and won't be able to understand the consequences of her actions. You have a lifelong toddler and acting like a Martyr changes none of that.
delaina910 Everyone with Down syndrome are absolutely amazing, they are the bubbliest ppl on Earth and always have such good hearts ❤️❤️
OMG, all twins are cute but these two are unbelievably cute.
There are high functioning and not so high functioning kids with down syndrome. These lovely kids seem to be functioning quite well, however not fair to expect every parent with Down syndrome to have such smooth sailing. I have encountered the other extreme.
They are just beautiful the way they are. And what a blessing their big brother is. What a beautiful story, thank you for sharing your life.
I can't wait to see them grow up!! They're so precious!
downs kids are so kind all downs people are a bundle of joy and love xx
I don't think the Dr was trying to be mean by saying sorry. I think it is hard for all doctors to have to tell the parents that their babies have a disorder. I probably wouldn't know to say other than sorry. I'm glad the situation turned around for this family 😀
Best Gamer75 they didn't say he was being mean.
This girls are so happy of how they were born.
