Thanks! Well worth flying it. There were a few people doing DUB-CFN-DUB which is easily doable with a 25 min turn around in Donegal due to it being super small. Have a great time! I hope this video helps you out on your trip :)
Great video! Awesome to see an old airliner like that still in operation! So those metal outlets could be for therapeutic oxygen (I THINK - similar to our 777) So if a passenger is unwell then a mask is plugged in to one of the outlets and the flight deck switches on a system to deliver oxygen to a passenger in the cruise 😊😊
Bloody brilliant Jamie, your videos are getting better and better mate! Loving all the little details, like slowing the video down when you were talking about the new runway at DUB. That's certainly an airline I've never heard of before, interesting that a Swedish airline is doing Irish domestic flights! Donegal looks like a nice little airport too. What's up next then mate?! 😉
Thanks Andy! Well worth a visit! Next up will be a look at the 'new' Teeside Airport, and in that video I'll be flying the E145 on Loganair over to Belfast City. I'm working on that one now so around 2 weeks before the next one :)
Great video. So lucky to have a friendly crew and getting the cockpit tour and a solo view of the cabin. Amazing. I really enjoy watching your videos and look forward to being able to make my own when travel resumes for us in Australia.
Great video, keep up the good work! I took a flight with Amapola in Finland (Helsinki-Joensuu) this summer on a F-50 and while their site isn't the best the flight itself was lovely with a great crew :) Loved the plane, just cannot beat the sound of a turboprop!
Nice one Jamie! I was looking at these guys a couple of weeks back after finding out they’d taken over the route. Must have been a great experience on the flight deck after landing too, I’m very jealous!
Thanks Mark! Certainly one I'd recommend you take. You could do DUB-CFN-DUB within the day too if needed. Donegal airport is certainly quite remote and not the easiest place to get into/out of by road unless you're exploring the area.
DUDE! Wow, that was so comprehensive and well narrated! I am sure your channel will grow soon. Really well done, sound (voice, music etc) and editing is on point, editing is good... keep it up! I do have to disagree with the titel though... Landing next to a beach is great but how about you land ON A BEACH :D perhaps fly to Barra (EGPR) next time then I'll reconsider :p Edit: subbed!
Subscribed and follow you on Insta, great trip reports! I was once invited into the flight deck of a TCX A321 by a lovely Cabin Manager on the way to ACE. Would love to do it again.
Coming right up! My next video will be about teeside airport and the flight I took over to Belfast on Logan air. Working on the terminal map etc today!
I build this one. i worked on all 250 fo them up untill Fokker went bankrupt. Started on the second prototype as an aprentince. Road my bycicle to school and we started at 7:15 for the day shift. Great cantina. We payed fl. 1,75 for a full hot meal back in 1986. Now € 0,63
Loved the video. could the oxygen outlets be for the crew that need to move from one seat to another to check on people? Or if the plane was used in places or high altitude and doesn’t pressurise as much?
@@JTsJourneys Apologies that this is so very late, but I believe that they would be to insert your oxygen mask into in the event of a loss of cabin pressure, rather than the usual drop-down mechanism. I expect that they don't work anymore, as there was no mention of oxygen masks on the safety card.
How did you get the website to English? Whenever I go on it's in Swedish and I barely understand and don't want to book in Swedish in case I mess something up lol, nice trip report!
Hey Jamie, Can I ask a quick question, did you have to complete a Passenger Locator Form when you came back to the UK, I have seen it says no testing either end, or a need to fill in the PLF on return as its the CTA, but just checking?
Hi Simon. To get back into the UK I didn’t have to fill a form in. I did however have to fill one in to get into Ireland as I hadn’t been double jabbed at the time. CTA back to the UK though there was no requirement when I travelled. Hope that helps.
Hello, as I said at the end of the video, it wouldn't have been possible without the accommodating staff onboard and at both airports. Thank you to them.
Now done by Emerald Airlines for Aer Lingus, Operating by ATR 72-600
I might be flying that in summer. But Aer Lingus are quite hot on not letting you film these days
@@JTsJourneys Hopefully Emerald Airlines are okay, I’ve seen other videos on RUclips of them. Guess you find out soon.
Great video, really enjoyed this. Please do again with the new service and ATRs.
Thank you! I'm planning on trying out the ATR service next year :)
Brilliant video! Thanks for the trip report I’ll need to give this route a go soon

Cool.Did it last weekend

Brilliant video Jamie, I really enjoyed watching it, greetings from Cork!
Thank you! I've only been to Cork once, must go back soon!

Thank you! ahh yes, try and get on some of the Fokker you have, they're all gone from Europe now with the exception of this airline!
@@JTsJourneys yeah you’ll need to try Alliance who fly a few different types of the fokkers here.
Top drawer..Very enjoyable..hope your channel goes from strength to strength..right up there with the Trip Report/Avgeek big boys..👏👏

Thanks! Agreed, the site is very basic, but it does the job !
Good video, good job. I flew the fokker 50 in Brazil and loved it.
