Great minds must think.... I've been using this type of product for 10+years I'm splurging and buying this pretty one! Mine is plastic and white. This little guy will pay for itself. Super simple to use? Buy extra stoppers because they do get lost after a couple of glasses of wine! Lol great video!
+Fran Noerr Great minds? You must be talking to Amy then. But yeah, we've never used one before, so that's why we did this review. Thanks for your words of wisdom, and as always, we like to hear from you. Happy New Years!
+Fran Noerr I am really liking this stopper. Many times I want to cook with wine and I buy those little small bottles because I don't want to waste the leftover wine. This is a great little tool to keep the leftovers.
Love this video. I just sat down with a glass of wine after putting all the Christmas decorations back in the attic and saw you had uploaded this fantastic video, cheers to you Amy, and Eric for making my sit-down more enjoyable.
+Bonnie Fanning Thanks for the kind words and for watching our video. I'm glad you found it entertaining. Amy won't let me take down anything just yet as she is extending Xmas out past the New Years. But I did take down our 12' Snowman blow-up since he doesn't do so well in the wind. Lets just say that to any casual observer, it looks like Frosty is hanging himself, but I find draping him on the shower rod gets him dry so I can put him away. The other blowups gotta tough it out another week.
+lionharehart Glad you liked the video and commented. This was fun, to say the least. We don't drink very often. I don't know if that came thru or not, but I'm guessing Amy's singing didn't help our case :-)
Happy New Years and Season Greetings. I hope everyone had an enjoyable Christmas with their families. Amy and myself are grateful for what we have and feel blessed to have this opportunity to make these videos. We really enjoy sharing our love for cooking with everyone and having some fun along the way. Please stay safe this holiday season. Cheers!
+Michel J. Pelissier I'm glad you liked the video. Such a cute comment. I'm jealous of those symbols. I did a product review for a fire starter this afternoon and had Amy come out and enjoy my inferno in the middle of the yard with some wine. It was almost like 1999 all over again. Didn't need the wine pump today!
You'd think that wouldn't work on sparkling wine so much as it would suck out all the CO2. Seen nitrogen injectors that expel oxygen, but I would just finish off the bottle and go to bed.Happy new year everyone.
+davidbennett60 We got a bottle of sparkling something. So we'll give it a try. Theoretically, I'm not sure how CO2 acts in a vacuum. Does it still bubble, or does it go crazy once it has room to release? Should be an interesting experiment. Otherwise, we could just finish the bottle and not film or edit anything that day? Happy New Years!!!
I'm guessing that if carbonation requires high pressure to dissolve CO2, then low pressure would have the opposite effect and make the CO2 come out of solution, depending how full/empty the bottle is. Should still slow down the oxidation process, so let us know how it goes. Thanks, Dave.
+davidbennett60 yeah, we're gonna have to test this. There's the Fick's law of diffusion that covers the question of how does oxygen cause oxidation if CO2 is heavier and is laying just above the liquid. Gotta give it up to the researchers on a beer website to go into too much detail for this topic. Most think a wine saver is a bad idea for carbonated beverages and at least one guy said it actually works fine for 1-2 days max. So will definitely need to test that theory.
Lol she’s feeling real nice
lmaoooo

+Bonnie Fanning Love it!!! I hope you had a nice evening.
You guys brought a big grin to my face. I can hardly wait for the MD 20/20 video. You two are luscious (lushes).

+lionharehart I can't wait to see Eric taste all those cheap wines. We have been collecting them for the last few weeks. He can't hold his liquor!!!
Quite helpful and amusing! "We can have wine for breakfast!"
Only good for a day?
