He was at his best when he wasn't emptying the tank and throwing 102 on every pitch. Starting pitchers used to pace themselves before the quants came along and ruined things.
The 2015 Mets had a great run. I was more impressed with 2016, a lot of injuries; Duda, deGrom, Matz, Harvey and Wheeler. The 2016 Mets still managed to win a wildcard berth that season.
