When my granddaughter, Dalilah, was young, her dad was serving a tour of duty in Afghanistan. Anytime this song came on the radio, she would get so excited. She thought it was her daddy singing to her from far away. ❤ Thank you, Plain White Ts.

Manon most channels I woulda watched the song and skipped the last part. I'm so glad I didn't. Hearing that story again but in such detail was so cool. I've been watching u guys for over 2 years now. This success is well deserved. Imo you just had a historical music moment on your show. This performance have me the same vibes as all those great Howard Stern show live performances.
The radio version of this song with the strings is WHAT WE NEED in today's hit music!!! It was a breath of fresh air to hear this song when it was popular, because we have sadly gotten away from the basics of what makes a great ballad... or ballads in general.

This is so fucking cool. Very special. This song meant so much to me as a kid, I was in junior high when it came out and it totally embodied that hormonal, pubescent love-longing I experienced. And I have long loved this channel, so what a special combo

There's a gem of a song called "Dear Delilah" by a late 1960s group called Grapefruit which featured the late Alexander Young.
Two of his younger brothers Angus & Malcolm co-founded AC/DC while George Young was part of The Easybeats.
That's one talented family.
And George made this Project Band called 'Flash And The Pan' in the 70s and 80s'.
I love this music from down under.
I would like to see one day Jay and Amber check out a song of them.

Hell yes! The REAL version of this song!!! Love it when it's just him and the guitar as it was on the album "All That We Needed". Such a great record as well. One of those that you can listen to from beginning to end.
I recommend a few other tracks from that same album. "Last Call", "Anything", and "Revenge"
