    Very cool. Surprised you didn’t put a gravel pad underneath

    Would be nice to see how you attach the gasket and bolt them together. Do you have labs for this?

    How are they coupled?

    I'm wondering how/if you refinished the floor to hold up to the wear and tear of vehicles, water being tracked in etc.

      We use the one-trip containers for offices and garages and I’ve never seen a wear issue with the vinyl. I guess whatever we can throw at them is no comparison to being used for cargo in the ocean for 12 years.

    What did you use to seal between the containers?

      @@rhythmincdancestudio3213 When you cut a wall out you just raise it up then weld supports. Maybe a 1/2”. But if you’re not cutting a wall out I either would worry about it or you can cut the seam at the top of the wall then raise it up then reweld it.

      @@Simpleshippingcontainers thanks so much, this is such a puzzle for me, since the containers drain on the sides if I attach 2 together I can put a flashing over the seam to push the water to the other sides. When I attach 4, I can’t do that so I have been trying to figure out a way to make it happen without having to pay for a huge roof over all of the containers lol

    Very cool was 7' the highest you could go for door?

    • @Simpleshippingcontainers
      @Simpleshippingcontainers  5 месяцев назад +1

      With a tracked conventional panel door you can go to 8’ tall in a high cube container, you’ll simply have tracks protruding the other side or open side of the container to allow for travel backward. If the walls are not cut out of a container 7’ is the max since the container is 8’ wide.
