Listening to this song tonight to remember my mom Keren who passed away May 2024. Mom loved Alabama and introduced me to their music. This song is about a couple but i think of my mom and i too when i hear it. I lived with my mom as a caregiver and companion and we were best friends too. We lived what some may have thought was a small life, but we loved it and were very happy at home and with one another,and woth simple joys. Since my mom died some well meaning people have told me they are glad i can get out more or be more social after all the years caring for mom. What they can never understand is i was the luckiest person to know my mom and get to spend 35 years of my life with her in a home we love and a very special life together. She and i lived in our own little world, aint it wonderful...love you Momma ❤

Glad you got to see them in concert. There was 3 of us that were going to go, but 1 by 1 we all had reasons we couldn't. We worked in a 14-7-52 dinner, and our biggest problem was $$.'s. the didtance, gas for "Who's car do We take?, When We got back, NO sllep, All 3 of us had to work next day! Happy For you, I did get to see lots of others through. FUN!
