@@mrj4nk1ns mr boots only if they are insane amounts of cc like they have to have 4-5 cc champs, banshees i havent went myself but some pros really like building it, could be viable vs heavy ap teams or ap assassins that can one shot you.

i have a tier list on hard to easy difficulty but not one for win vs lose early game so i could try, the thing is a lot of these matchups are like really really volatile and sometimes u will win early sometimes you wont. i could rank it on like both champs playing perfect who would win

I feel like doran's shield is good vs ranged top, you can preserve mana, not using W, and farm even under poke, 'cause you heal up. Just preserve resources till level 6 and then all in, always works with me, I even like ranged matchups because of how free they feel

better off building more AP for your W resistances imo. if you really need the MR go banshees and/or mercs (both is kinda overkill but if they are 4/5 ap dmg with lots of cc its good)
Hey, I’m currently stuck in plat 1 for a time now and thinking about picking up Gwen. How hard is it to get used to her mechanics and what do you think about her carry potential in this elo?
I'm new to league in general but i really like to play gwen but i was thinking about what other champs to play versus her bad matchups do you have any recommendations or should i just play gwen every single game?
Would you still ever advocate for Ionian boots? I feel like through most builds, she receives next to no Ability Haste, making Ionian's 10 AH a bit more valuable. Also, what runes do you recommend, in terms of presence of mind vs Absorb life, and for secondaries? Some like Resolve in either demolish + sw/bp, or sw/bp + overgrowth for tankiness, and some like scaling sorcery, and others go for triple tonic. Thanks!
I tried abyssal once and it really doesnt feel good anymore especially after item changes, i hear people saying banshees is viable but i think void is just too op to get replaced by abyssal
I havent tried ionian boots for a long time but i think with the pen build im going, sorcs synergizes better, lucidity boots could be good if you go a riftmaker build. Presence of mind is the best and secondaries are preference but i prefer demolish second wind the most
Pen gets i creasing returns from stacking so sorcs + shadowflame is def stronger than the sum of its parts. If you have some reason to not go shadowflame second then the cost of swapping out boots is lower and it could be more worth.
malignance is NOT BAD, tried it on gwen sup but im not a fan of it enough to build it every game since i like split pushing, not teamfighting so the r cd doesnt help much for me
@@ninkeygwen i do a mix of both and i find it useful to get especially to have a bit of extra melting potential with my ult. Also if i find myself struggling in lane i get fated ashes to get a bit of burn damage against very annoying champs like Garen or Illaoi but then finish off Nashors
What do you think of Gauntlet and hollow radiance? I've been running nashor, rift, gauntlet or hollow depends on the other team, than zhonya and shadowflame/rabadon! I've been having a LOT of success with this tanky build! Let me know what you think! appreciate the content :)
i might try it out tmrw or smth, i dont think it fits my playstyle but i dont see it being bad, after gwen gets her core dmg items you can build whatever and become thanos
why is bad to get both riftmaker and nashor's? I come to rely on tankiness from riftmaker a lot in teamfights (maybe because I am a bad gold player and can't really position well and keep diving headfirst into enemy idk) but the damage boost from nashor is too good to ignore.
idk why its bad just, whenever i go nashors rift it feels underwhelming, not tanky enough and not enough damage, since i like more damage/split push gwen i lean towards the full pen build with nashors
if u mean electrocute stormsurge lich bane that build might have more burst dmg but feels terrible to lane with and terrible to split push with. The build i go is more for well rounded gwen slightly favoring teamfighting since no riftmaker for sidelane

bad item. MAYBE last item but building it early is definitely worse since it cost too much and just not an essential like nash/void/rab
