Insanely valuable guide! One thing from a master tier akali player, I would like to mention, is that the energy cost of q at level 1 has gone down from 130 to 110 a while ago, which makes her level 1 actually strong in some matchups. You might be able to cheese an electrocute trade in or 2 qs at level 1. Some Matchups that can be abused level 1 imo are Azir(since he only has his soldiers that you can outspace), Sylas(dodgin e and hitting good spaced Qs decides the matchup from lvl 1 already), Yone(easy to proc electrocute), Even syndra or orianna if you cheese them into a too upfront position in lane
I'm on the side of "Akali is easy" as in she is easy to pick up but i am not denying that she has a high skill ceiling and a lot of room for skill expression. I am a casual player that also started in season 10. I was a support main for the most part until the second half of season 12, where then i became a flex player and played every role. Thats where i picked up akali for the first time. With the extensive game knowledge i already built prior i found akali "easy" to play personally because of "Akali W is a panic button", This tip was a mind opener for me. Anything goes wrong? press W. getting ganked? Press W. Getting tower dived? Press W. Anytime you need time to think for a plan to either engage or escape just press W, it gives you alot of breathing room to learn akali without going 0/10. But of course this is just a tip from a casual player, im sure this is not how you are suppose to use her W like this for the most part. Ciao👋
I see where you are coming from, i must say i'm on the other side though, tried playing Akali a few times but seems like everytime i play a non standard mage in the midlane i go 0 in 10 , perhaps its just me sucking as a melee though :D. What other games do you play since you are a casual league player?
That's understandable. Akali is somewhat more forgiving than other hard champs because of her w but there is so much more you can do with it outside of just using it defensively.

The algorithm works in misterious ways. I have had trouble for years finding an actual main champion that I enjoy playing and, for some reason, yesterday it randomly popped into my head that maybe I should try Akali. Today I got this recommended. Maybe I should actually try it for once.
I think Akali is both extremely easy and very hard. I am a jungler, and I only played her cuz i got a skin i wanted to use, and first timing her i was shitstomping every lane, but trolled hard in teamfights. If you just want to pick a champ to ruin someones day in lane, pick akali, you have to be clinically dead to lose lane on this character. The difficulty in lategame comes from her overloaded kit, because you are presented with so many choices, unless you have tremendous experience on the champ, you will very likely do something stupid.

wait thats crazy cause I was playing ranked on my yasuo and i got hardstomp by an akali. I still remember that day. (it was a month ago i think or two idk)
arent more sources of hp reg counterproductive? like DS+SW+high base HP reg?? because u get more hp back the lower u are and if u reg faster then u are not low anymore
@@Sspirulinaa all the time I have lead or have won lane I just can't help up my team or if I do so my laners gets fed from the my laners so I can't solo him anymore and I have very huge difficulty with wave management and Laning phase
