I have an enclosed patio for my cats now, and I am wanting to do living in an rv for a bit but have been sad that they’d loose those views, sunshine, and breeze. Love the tips here, and esp the catio! I’ve never seen anyone do that with an RV!

We travel with Phebe - our 14 yr old Tortie. She loves the dash once we are stopped. When we drive, she tucks in beside the bed. She is a great little traveler.
My wife and I just got you to 529 subs. We are glad to have found you as we are going to full time it in a high end used rig and yup we have cats too!! Have a great day guys!
@@RVAdventuresWithPets right now we have too many. Four indoor and we have three feral rescues in a 214 sq. ft. enclosed cat kennel. Not sure yet how this is all going to play out. We have three more years till retirement by then the ferals will be all over 10-11 years old. They are healthy and may live many more years.
Hi LaWanda. We feed our cats both dry (free-graze) and canned (twice daily) foods. We use Halo for dry and Purina Pro Plan Urinary Health for canned. We store a week's worth of canned food in the microwave since we don't microwave our foods and it's at a great height and super convenient for serving their meals. They can a little frantic and demanding. LOL. We store the extra canned food and the dry food in plastic bins that are stored on the second shelf of our kitty cafe. Hope that helps.
I have a 38ft rv 5th wheel, what I'm lookin for a cat day 14×14 to come from a side sofa windo to spend the day. They can't free roam. Flagstaff az not safe for them. Steps down from the to spend the day. With all they need.
We are just now trying to train our 17 year old cat to stay with us in our small travel trailer. She is OK in the car, but once it's time to go to bed she yowls for hours. Any advice?
Have you tried Feliway sprays? They worked great for one of our cat when he was anxious. Also, maybe a Catio would help? We have a video on how to make a Catio for our RV.

What is with the cages on the outside of the camper at the 10 second point? I'm traveling with cats this summer. Do you have any problem having more than 2 pets at some campgrounds?
So you take your cats outside? I have a toy hauler that I have made the garage door to be a patio vs. just a door (no toys just extra space), not sure how to keep cats safe with this open. Any ideas??
We do our best to block those off with cardboards. Our 4 older cats are too big now to get into those spaces but we just adopted a kitten. We are kitten proofing it as best as we can.
I don't know if I can picture our big tiger kitty behaving himself being inside most of the time in an RV. He is used to roaming outside whenever he wants sometimes for a few days before returning home. But we are about to sell our house and it looks like we will be living in our Fifth wheel for a wile. I am worried about it. When he gets cooped up to long he starts to raise hell with crying and destroying things. Any thoughts?
You better check with the laws in the area you will be driving thru, if in fact you're driving with the cats blocking your view of the road. Other wise, GREAT idea.
I want to live in an rv full time but I live in Florida and worry that the small rv/van I will be chosing will be to hot for the cats if I have to go into a store or have an appointment somewhere. What can I do, or can I even consider rv living under these circumstances?
I think a better shirt choice would’ve been one cat on it! 😻 I had to stop watching… Yes and I get the whole vegan foods reference but the symbol is definitely a mixed message in combination with cats. Instead of complaining, I’ll stop watching.

@Faith Link we do head count constantly and we are very cautious as we leave and come back each time.

Completely agree with the dash! We purposely chose and A Class motorhome because then our 3 cats get a huge dash area to sleep and play on!

I've never had problems at any campgrounds with my 5 furbabies. The cage is a catio. Check out the catio video for full info. My boys love it.

Is he leash trained? We take ours on walks and they love it.

We are plugged into shore power so we have AC.
What happens when you want to go out do you leave air on or windows open for the fur babies
We usally close the windows and keep the boys in the AC when we're gone, unless its for a very brief period of time.

Are you referring to the loungers? If yes, they do fall occasionally. We just put it up each time.
